Description of 1970 Chevrolet Blazer K5

1970 Chevy K5 Blazer. Original 350 4 speed 4x4

You have always wanted one so here is your chance. Build it the way you want it built and you will enjoy it even more than buying someone else’s dream!

Purchased from the original family this Blazer has been in Southern Arizona for the last 47 years. Minor rust repair will be needed that is shown in pictures but overall very clean. Usually the door rockers rust out in these old Blazers but these are rock solid. The fiberglass top is in amazingly good condition with no cracks or sagging. Lift gate is in good shape and works as it should. The original engine was removed many years ago by the previous owner and could not be located, but the original transmission, transfer case, driveshafts, etc. are still in the truck. Looks like all the wiring is still there along with the power steering pump and exhaust. If you were to put an engine and radiator in it I think you could start driving it!

The Blazer has it’s original heavy duty seats which are a little wider than the optional bucket seats. I do not have the back seat. Comes with a rear bumper but I do not have the front bumper.

I believe if you study the photos you will see how complete and solid this Blazer is. I have restored several of these and it is one of the easier classics to restore. Almost every part is available aftermarket from LMC and some of the other companies. If you do it right you can keep the costs down and still have a Blazer that’s worth $25-50,000 if you decide to sell it.
