Description of 1978 Chevrolet El Camino

No reserve. Beautiful high gloss paint that the pictures somehow didn't capture. I am a dealer and bought this car at a dealer auction. I posted a picture of their printout/description that shows the 1986 front end/seats/console. The car has a straight body and the interior has been redone. It is not a restoration but I bought it and had a guarantee that it is mechanically sound. I test drove it like 30 miles and it runs, drives and shifts perfectly and is great at 75mph on the highway (I was surprised). 3 speed automatic. 350 runs great and I think maybe has been modified-cam or? Has a lot of power for a 350. I purposely left the engine unwashed just like I bought it so you can see that is is pretty dirty but not leaking or blowing fluids and same with underneath the car. Cold ac. I could not find any rust on the car until I got it back to my office. I found a couple of very small spots in the same place in the corner of both little side windows. I took a picture on the passenger side and forgot to take one of the drivers side but it is the same. One little like quarter inch crack in the paint on the top rear of the passenger fender right next to the hood and a little uneven paint. I put a picture on here but you can't see it and I didn't see it until I got it back to my office. A couple of small places on the bottom of the bed have blemishes (pictured). Overall the car is a real head turner. Not a show car but sure looks like one and could be. It really could be a driver with cold ac and drives excellent. Excellent tires and the paint is awesome. You can call 512-263-77178 to see it Mon-Sat 8am-6pm. Texas buyers must pay all applicable TT&L. I would prefer you or someone you trust call me and come drive the car and check it out before bidding as that is what I would do.
