Description of 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle

Recent barn find (shop). Found this factory garnet red, black interior convertible sitting in a body shop for the past 20 plus years. Owner said it was restored and then was involved in a roll over accident and has been sitting ever since. The car had a 396 big block in it but as you can tell by included pic of engine stamp is not from this car. As near as I can tell it is from a 68 Camaro. Looks like engine is all there but apart. Four speed transmission is long gone however 4-speed console still there. The car also has a factory tilt column in it. Previous owner gathered up extra parts and replaced doors and fenders. Multible's of some parts come with car.
Floor and trunk floor appear solid with minimal repair. Frame also looks solid. This is a project but have seen much worse. We are a restoration shop and can do whatever degree of work on the car you would like. Give me a call to discuss. No reserve auction so bid to own. Please no calls after 9:30 CT.
