Take a look at this 1984 Chevrolet El Camino SS. A true rust free southern car built for the Hot Rod MagazinePower tour. a custom installed LS1 engine paired up with a 4L60E automatic transmission WITH overdrive and cruise control. Engine has been upgraded with a mild cam and headers that run into TRUE dual exhaust(cat delete). 10 bolt pos-traction rear endand 373 gears. Car runs and drives excellent. EVERYTHINGon the car works!!!This LS swap looks as though it was done at the factory. This is probably exactly what Chevrolet would have done had they decided to put a LS engine in a El Camino. New technology, fuel economy and reliability of modern carstoday, all packaged up inside this classic 1984 El Camino Muscle car. Nothing was cobbled and no shortcuts were taken during the build. There are no squeaks or rattles or noises from the car as it cruises down the HIGHWAY.Interioris custom down to the electronic instrumentcluster. The Bench seat is very nicelydone with the "SS" logo stitchedinto the headrestsin a brilliantorange to match the exterior color.Body panels are almost perfect and finished in a brilliant 2 tone orange and black topped off with a hand painted silver pin stripe.You would be hard pressed to duplicate this quality car for what we are asking.
