Nice Street Rod!!   Description Driven Rods And Rides is now offering this very clean & solid 1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS454 Pro Street. In opening this car runs. drives. and sounds outstanding! Here is your chance to own a rare and original SS454 Monte Carlo. 1 of 10 ever built in this color combo. complete with documentation that has been modified into to one hell of a street machine. This Chevy is powered by a new and nasty powerful 502ci V8 crate motor mated with a built 400 turbo automatic transmission with a 5000 stahl and TCI converter and 12 bolt 4:10 rear end. It is very streetable and is fueled by a 950 dominator competition carburetor with a Edlebrock Victor Jr. aluminum intake. MSD Ignition. Barry Grant Electric Fuel Pump. long tube headers with 3" dual exhaust with tailpipes out the rear sides of car. Stopping is no problem with this Monte Carlo as well thanks to it's front disk brakes. This car is set up from tip to tail to race and the motor is totally solid with no smoke. noises. or leaks! Pump gas is great in this car as well. You have to hear and see this car in person. it's pretty impressive and sounds fantastic! This Chevy has a very presentable paint job. on a solid. straight body. The majority of the paint on this car appears to be original. it has been garage kept and still shows mirror like reflections as can be seen in the pictures. The car does have a few paint imperfections. mostly go unnoticed to the untrained eye. All gaps and fitment of panels are nice. doors open and close easily. All door. hood. and jams finished out nicely. The undercarriage is clean and is solid. The floors. frame. body braces. bed. and rockers all look solid. All glass and trim around glass is nice. Chrome and stainless trim is in good shape as well. This street beast also has 6 point certified cage that can easily be removed if unwanted. We were told it will do 10s in 1/4. Delivering all that power to the ground is a set of aluminum Weld racing wheels with Hoosier street slicks. This '71 Carlo has a very clean original interior. The seats are free from any rips and tears and are in great condition except for the top of the rear seat from age. The headliner looks outstanding and the carpet appears to be new. Door panels are in great shape as well but the driver door arm rest has some wear. The dash is very nice also except for one smaller area of spider cracking. All lights and turn signals work and all gauges work as they should. You can street. track or show in this very rare old ride and truly be proud to own a very unique street animal. They just don't make em like this anymore and you can save thousands with this one as it's ready to roll!
