Description of 1989 Chevrolet Blazer Hot Rod - Street Rod - Custom Show Truck- Lowrider

I will never do a plain old bidding style auction again. Got screwed twice!!!-First time, winning bidder(with 2 feedback) said he never bid & didn't know how bids got there.- Second time i alerted eBay about a Zero Feedback bidder who created account same day he bid(because i didn't want same thing to happen as before). They looked into it and saw he was fraudulent & they canceled his bid. The next bidder in line said since he was previously outbid, he bought another car already. The next bidder behind him (who won) said to me after the auction closed .... Since he was previously outbid, he bought another car already. Ugggh.Hopefully this will help future sellers.I'm learning You really need to have either a screening process in place or something that gives incentive not to back out.So after talking to Ebay Motors Specialist's a few times, i've learned there are 2 better ways....1) is buy-it-now with immediate payment of deposit(which keeps deadbeats out cause they pay deposit upfront).2) is if you do an auction style and screen bidders; include best offer option & say once a best offer is given they must get in touch with you within theallotted time so you can speak with them and see howserious they are... Or else you willdeclinetheir offer. & this can happen all while the auction doesn't skip a beat. You could do this with a regular auction but if there are a ton of bids, it might get a bit hectic, but would still work.
I'm going with Buy-It-Now option.Listen, I'm not a dealer. I don't sell cars for a living. I'm just a guy trying to sell his hotrod to make room for more of my Projects. Toprevent the non-serious buyers from biddingI'm going to say the deposit is non-refundable . I do have every right to keep it if i choose. But listen...I know shit happens so if anunforeseencircumstance comes up, I'm an understanding person. If your serious about the truck, don't let this scare you away at all. I'm justincluding this to scare away the few idiots out there that bidhaphazardly
So for the last time... if you don't have the money or aren't serious about buying, DON"T BID...PLEASE!!!!Bottom line... This is a killer truck. You won't bedisappointed!!!
Any questions at all... please call me anytime. Thanks. Joe 516-647-8787 !!! Up for sale is my 89 Custom Chevy S10 Blazer - Show Truck, Street Truck, Street Rod, Hot Rod... whatever you wanna call it. Built the right way by a professional shop in Knoxville Tenn. about 10 years ago. It's Slammed as they say, Air bags in all four corners. Sits on the ground as you can see when fully aired down. When aired up, no ground clearance issues whatsoever. Each airbag has it's own control switch and monitored by EasyStreet air guages. Air provided by 2 chrome Viair 450s compressors in the bed (One provided air for front, other for back) The Body is channeled or "Dropped" 4 1/2" to help with the stance even further. The paint is unbelievable!!! Pics don't do it justice. Must see it in person to believe. House of Kolor paint with incredible painted (not decal) graphics, with custom airbrushing filled in everywhere. The graphics and airbrushing cover inside door panels as well as door jams, rocker panels, firewall, dashboard, console... the amount of detail and time spent is just incredible. The price tag for paint alone is upwards of 25K. Shaved body and firewall, Suicide doors which just look Killer!!! Flush mounted LED brake lights on C pillars in the rear. Oh & that custom dash/console is not molded fiberglass like most do... It's all Metal. That metalwork alone is just beautiful. Then comes the drivetrain. Engine started out as a chevy 350 crate engine, rebuilt turning it into a 383 stroker. Only 1200 miles since rebuild. New Speedo shows accurate mileage since rebuild. 700R4 transmission w/ overdrive. The rear is out of a C4 Corvette which means rear disk brakes, posi rear-end, and independent rear suspension. Powermaster Mastertorque starter, HEI distributor, Electric fan... Super reliable drivetrain. Never had an issue starting. Runs nice and cool. & with that Overdrive, drive her on the highway, noproblem. Other details include four wheel disc brakes w/ brand new rotors, pads, brake lines, adjustable proportioning valve & Wilwood master cylinder. Freshly polished 20" Aluminum Centerline rims that look almost chrome & really set the car off. Power steering, Tilt steering Column, Billet Steering wheel, Lokar billet dash insert, full set of Mooneyes custom guages, custom aluminum gas tank, hidden trunk & hood release, hidden key start.... I'm sure i'm forgetting a bunch of things. If you like going to car shows and entering contests, make sure you have room for all the trophies to come. Just a beautiful head turning show truck/Hot Rod. 2 pics at the end are from a previous owner from a car show in Tennessee where it was supposedly in Truckin Magazine and HotRidezMag. There are a couple of things i would have eventually done if i was gonna keep it which i'll tell you about, but nothing that's a necessity. Drive it all day long and enjoy!!! As you can see, it's priced to sell. Lucky for you guys, It's worth a heck of a lot more than what i'm asking. I'm taking a loss on it but i just need the room for all my other projects. Please ask any questions you have. Message me or If you want to call or txt...(516) 647-8787 Buyer Pays for shipping if your not picking it up in person. I will assist the shipping company in any way i can to make the process go smoothly. If your within a 2-3 hour drive, we might be able to make other arrangements if you don't have transportation.I accept cash and Bank to Bank Money Transfer. And I'll accept Cashier's/Bank check, BUT... will wait until it clears before releasing vehicle.
*** Also, I'm sure everyone can see through it but just in case i'll explain... after i listed it and put the VIN in, & the history report says there's a problem with mileage. Duh... mileage is not turned back. It's not the stock engine and the entire car was rebuilt so it obviously doesn't have it's original mileage anymore. Also, there was a duplicate title issued years ago. Probably for something as simple as a lost title. Nosalvage title, flood or fire vehicle here. Even no history of accidents. Clean Ny title in my name. Car registered inspected and gets driven.Just wanted toclarify. Happy Bidding!!!!!!!!
