Description of 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle SS

For sale is a 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, this is a true SS not a clone. With 1 family since new. Garaged. Mostly original car. Updated power steering. Original numbers matching 283 engine, 4 speed transmission, and drivetrain which were never opened. Starts right up, runs, handles, shifts, and drives nicely. No leaks. Get in this car and drive it anywhere. Current PA inspection. 100,195 original miles. Seller purchased brand new in 1964 at Morganstern Chevrolet dealer, he eventually sold it to his inlaws to come up with a down payment for his house in '68, then purchased it back from her in '78. Maintained at regularly prescribed times by local garage. Receipts and various documention from new (1964-2017) available, maintenance, repair, and annual inspection receipts, etc. After all this time his use doesn't justify the means anymore-he put less then 1000 miles on the car the last 5 years so he is selling, he asked me to list this online for him and I said sure. Repainted the original GM maroon with silver top color scheme in 1987, at this time the rear quarters and trunk compartment had minor repairs. Coil springs and shocks replaced at this time as well. No accidents ever, body is nice and straight, doors don't droop and open/shut with a 'click'. No visible rust anywhere on the car-frame, floors, trunk, body, all rust free. Tiny dent in the original grill and maybe 1 or 2 tiny body dings, smaller then a penny. Paint shines excellently, decent quality, showing some orange peel and a couple tiny nics. Original trim. No power brakes or AC. This car purrs so quietly you almost can't hear it idle.
All 4 tires are like new, mounted on original steel wheels with original hubcaps. 4 wheel drum brakes. Interior is original and in excellent shape. Headliner, instrument panel shell, and armrest trim inlays replaced. The horn cap is off of a 1965 SS. Buckets covered with custom formed sheepskins for many years, seats are in unmolested original very good condition. Non smoker. Engine compartment is in untouched original condition. Title is in hand and ready for immediate posession. I have 120 closeup digital pics of the entire car including trunk and undercarriage I can email you upon request, just ask. Reserve is under $26000, car can be purchased at anytime with a phone call to me, no need to wait. Reasonable offers considered! Call me direct anytime 610 929-2293, please leave a detailed voicemail and I'll call you back. This is a landline so no texts.

I pulled the seat cover off and took a picture of it, they are original and in excellent condition. I have a pic of the engine block number which matches all the other codes as proof this is a true SS.
