Description of 1956 Chevrolet Corvette Standard

UP FOR SALE - 1956 CORVETTE RESTOMOD IN A BOX

I bought this C1 Corvette three years ago with great intentions to complete it in 36 months. Well life got in the way along with a 55 and a 65 Corvette Project. I made a significant investment in finding all the parts needed to complete this project. Further, I bought a Billy Dawson frame, powder coated silver, and completely populated it with a C4 suspension with all new components. That includes a new Richmond gear in the Dana 36, Dawson's rear steer shafts, all new suspension bushings, new u-joints, new rotors, rebuilt calipers, new stainless steel brake lines, new parking brake cables, new Timkin wheel bearings all the way around, new upper and lower ball joints, new tie rods, new Delco shocks, rebuilt Lone Star rack and pinion, Ididit chrome column with rag joint, new vacuum brake boosted master cylinder, new Leadmine fuel tank with 600hp fuel pump......topped off with a new, never started LS3/435 HP Vette engine hooked up to a front runner with A/C and factory new four speed auto with a Lokar shifter and CT aluminum drive shaft all spitting fire out of an X pipe custom magnaflow exhaust.

All this new stuff sits under a 1956 body with VIN tag and Texas Title that is accented with a new front and rear clips, new door posts, cowl braces, 100% of the windshield hardware has been rechromed or polished, I have the rechromed grill oval, grill teeth are new, bumpers, headlight buckets, head light trim, fuel injection trim, front and rear emblems, side and seat stainless. Tinted and untinted side window glass, windshield, and decent convertible top frame. The heavy lifting on the resto part of this project is done. Doors, hood, trunk lid body work complete, but front and rear clips need to be bonded.

I've got expense records for North of $60k for materials only on this project......and that is cheap....I estimate that it can be finished for less than $30k.....these restomods easily auction for $165K+. $500 down via paypal within 24 hours of auction ending. Cash balance due in 5 business days via wire transfer.

I'm offering this up for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. More photos upon request.
