Description of 1991 Chevrolet Suburban Silverado

Original Owner from Pennsylvania. Years of snow and salt shows in pics with rust. Trailer hitch receiver has penetrating rust. Frame has surface rust only.2nd owner From Missouri. It was garage kept there so it wasn't subject to the weather as much.I bought it in April of 2016. Drove it from St. Louis to Georgia. Drove it daily for several months, then alternated driving it with my other suburban. Transmission failed on the way to work in June 2017. Wife says I either fix it yourself or get rid of it. ????I really don't have the time needed to pull it out and rebuild it myself so I figured I better keep her and the truck has to go. I did shop around for repair shop prices in this area anyway. 6 different shops have price Ranges from $2500-$3500 to remove, rebuild and reinstall.
AC works when refrigerant is in it. Been charging it instead of finding the leak and fixing it. I've charged it twice in one year. But In Georgia using AC at least 6 months out of the year is normal.Cruise works, radio works, never tried the CD player so I don't know if it works. Left rear tire leaks air. Suspension and steering pretty good. Will need brakes soon. Engine ran great. No after market products installed at all. Everything is original from factory except for the cargo bay carpet. That was replaced. Interior looks great for a 91. No tears in seats. No cracks on dash top.Be sure to zoom in on all pics for details.
More than happy to answer any additional questions. If you're interested and decide to buy it then it will have to be towed.
