Description of 1958 Chevrolet Impala Delray |
| This is a very good solid original car with original interior and one repaint never restored or taken apart it has 70000 original miles on a straight six automatic transmission with dealer added air ( needs charged but was converted to 134a) solid floors braces and trunk .It does have a older repaint from previous owner and has alot of flaws but looks good as is or repaint for show quality. Runs good but runs and drives like a 1958 not like a new car . It is a little cold natured. It has power nothing as the Delray was a stripped down version of the Impala with less trim and options. This car has had one headlight cap other than that I believe it is original .some minor rust issues (bubbles) on rear quarters as shown in photos . Restore it or drive as is won't find many like this with no major rust issues. Only has small patches over week spot in rear floor as seen in photos screwed in over original floor panel (also done by previous owner.) |
