Description of 1955 Chevrolet Other Pickups Red

Now is your chance to own a truly beautiful barn find 1955 Chevrolet stake side one ton truck, with no rust, excellent condition, one owner, and low mileage.Say that 10 times without a mistake ! Selling it for the original owner who is in his 90s. Says it's the original paint, but he can't remember if he had it painted 40 years ago. I rubbed a few spots and came out with a shine. It's been parked in his barn for 20 years or more. He can't remember when he parked it.When I went to see it he must have started it up and ran it awhile because it started right up an purred like a new born kitten. He said he had to change the battery. It doesn't smoke or drink to much. Those 6 cyl. Chevys were noted for quite engines and good mileage. He said the only thing he ever did to it was to change it over to 12 volts from 6.He says you can raise the sides and take your bull to the auction, lower the sides and put your grain in it, and it has a slide door in the rear to unload your grain, and if you want to take the sides down you can haul you hay. It comes with the original title! says he bought it new in 56 but it's a 55. I drove it a little and it was one of the nicest trucks I have ever driven. If you want to use it around the farm, I'm sure it has many trouble free miles left in it. Or you can use it in parades, take it to car shows, or just park it in your front yard and visit with all the folks that want to admire it. I have had a few lookers that wanted to take pictures of it.So hope it's what tittles your fancy, and as the saying goes "keep on truckin!"Happy Trails!
