Description of 1958 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100

1958 Chevy Big Window Model 3100 1/2 Ton Pickup

This is a fresh build of a beautiful 58 big window pickup. It has been a California truck all of its life and is in perfect condition.

Drive Train: 350 CI Chevy motor with a TH350 transmission with a Lokar shifter.The rebuilt rear end has a new 3:38 ratio ring and pinion with . New master cylinder and brakes. The engine has an Edelbrock Performer Dual Plane Intake with an Edelbrock 600CFM carb. Pertronix ignition, rams horn exhaust.

Exterior: Beautiful burgundy paint, two stage clear coat. The hood emblems were removed to give it smoother look. All chrome items are new including the grille, bumpers, stainless tail lights, mirrors, stainless bed strips, headlight bezels and door handles. All of the glass with the exception of the rear window is new. New oak bed with 8 coats of marine varnish including the underside.

Interior: New tan carpet, headliner, visorsand upholstery. A Lokar gas pedal and Lokar kick down cable. The truck is a radio delete and has a working restored heater. The original 58 steering wheel has been restored. No A/C. Dynamat throughout the interior. New modern gauge cluster.

Suspension: New Posie Dualflex front springs with a 3" drop. The rear suspension has the frame "C" notched and the rear axle flipped under the frame to lower the rear and give it a great look. New shocks.

The truck has new American Mag wheels with General Altimax RT tires, a new American AutoWire #500481 wiring kit.
