Description of 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

For Sale: NCRS Top Flight Awarded 1967 Corvette Convertible that has been well preserved and cared for since new.
This is a rare opportunity to buy a 1967 Corvette in its original Goodwood Green exterior with documentation verifying it's ownership history, equipment, and numbers matching 327/350 HP drive train.
I would first like to thank you for taking the time to view this extremely unique car and will to the best of my ability give you as much information as possible so that you may bid or buy this Corvette with confidence.
The car was fortunate to be owned by the right people who kept it original and correct for future generations to appreciate and enjoy. The first owner, Dr Robert Neldrum, cared for the car and was extremely honored to own it. His name is listed on the ProTectO Plate (POP) in the documentation. He was gracious enough to write a letter to me further verifying and documenting the chain of ownership. That POP, personal letter, and photos of he and his wife in the car back at the time of initial ownership will be included in the sale.
The car made its way to Gene Tucker of Corvette Classics in Macon, GA where he retained the car in his personal collection where he performed the body on preservation to NCRS judging guidelines before selling it to me back in 2002. My name is Rick and I have since 2002 keep this car in pristine condition, and have had the car officially Judged by NCRS, where it was awarded the Top Flight Award with a score of 95.2 out of a possible 100 percentage points. The official scoring sheet will be included with the sale. NCRS heavily scrutinizes Corvettes to extreme guidelines to meet their prestigious awards. This car has met those guidelines with its original numbers matching drive train, rear 3.36 axle, four-speed transmission and original decoded components throughout. The date codes are highly visible on this car and help set it apart from other Corvettes that are not in this class.
No expense was spared keeping this Corvette in its current condition. View the pictures of the engine compartment and bottom and you will see how highly detailed and correct the car is. The L79 350 HP engine was properly rebuild approximately 7 years ago to original factory specifications and preforms like New with strong pulling power in all gears. The 4 speed transmission shifts nice and crisp and is a pleasure to drive when you run it through the gears. The top was replaced a few years ago and it also has the correct date coded 1967 glass in the back window. The car is always stored with the top up.
I welcome you or your representative to come and inspect the car in person to truly appreciate its condition. If you are unable to see it person feel confident in your decision to bid or buy the car because it really has been well cared for. Many people believe and have voiced their opinion that the 1967 Corvette is the best year to own. A lot of time was spent trying to determine the value of this car and comparisons show sales prices for this caliber of Corvette from $95,000 to $125,000. That being said, a fair buy it now price of $79,900 has been set to this eBay auction for those of you who would prefer to buy the car now and bypass the auction process. I may be reached at 248-761-9333 any time to answer your questions or to make purchase arrangements. The car is being sold as is only because cars of this age are. Transportation expenses for shipping the car shall be paid for by the purchaser. Thank you for viewing this listing and bid or buy with confidence.
The following is a accurate description of the verified parts that have been documented, recorded and Judged by NCRS. I hope this is helpful and answers many questions that you may have. Please feel free to call me at 248-761-9333. Rick
