This car is the perfect combination of yesterday's 1st generation Camaro looks with today's LS based roller cam power. This car has been retro-fitted with a responsive 5. 3 Liter LS V8 paired with a Turbo 350 Automatic Transmission. An Edelbrock LS-1 timing control box and special aluminum intake have been installed. The engine has been dressed with black Edelbrock valve covers. This is just a great classic Camaro with today's reliability. Texas in addition to Texas Motor Toys' showroom. also located in Terrell. Texas. The exterior presents a quality re-paint in the correct Nantucket Blue in a base/clearcoat. The paint and body are in exceptional condition throughout. Black Z/28 style stripes and the rear spoiler round out this stunning look. The wheels of choice are machine polished 17-inch Retro custom rims fitted with 215/50R17 radials all around. Under the hood is the updated 5. 3 liter V8 engine. These stout engines are often referred to as baby LS1's. This particular engine runs strong and is paired with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. An Edelbrock LS-1 timing control unit runs the spark while a tried & true 4bbl. carburetor provides the induction. Cooling duties are helped with an electric fan. Further inspection of the engine compartment will reveal original sheet metal throughout the firewall. inner fenders. and core support. The original firewall identification plate is also intact. This is a well-optioned car from the factory as you can see. It was born in the Norwood. Ohio assembly plant in Nantucket Blue. Open the doors to 1967. The interior features factory deluxe black bucket seating and center console. all in excellent condition. The rubber seals were replaced throughout this Camaro along with the window felts. upholstery and carpeting. The dash displays the original gauges. The dash pad is clean and detailed as well. An aftermarket AM/FM bowtie stereo has been installed along with moulded kickpanels & speakers. The antenna is also power operated. The black convertible top is in very good condition. protected with a black convertible top boot. The wheels of choice are the factory 15-inch Rally Wheels wrapped in 235/60R15 Futura Super Sport radial tires all around. The chrome is in excellent condition. this is dust in the above photograph. Both front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed. The undercarriage is in excellent condition. This was a frame-off restoration. The sub frame assembly was removed. refinished and rebuilt along with the differential in addition to the front and rear suspension. The late model drive-line was also installed during all of this extensive work. You can see that hundreds of hours and countless dollars have went into this Camaro's build. Even the flooring was refinished in Nantucket Blue. The gas tank was replaced along with the sending unit and the wiring throughout this Camaro.
