This is an absolutely beautiful restored 1968 Camaro RS. It was frame off restored 7 years ago and has only had about 5k miles since then. It is listed as just an RS since it is very difficult to verify it being an SS so I am selling as RS factory. This car has a stunning show quality paint job with absolutely laser straight panels. It has a 400 sbc engine and it runs perfect. It is geared low but it will run all day at 65 on the highway. It has front disc brakes, power steering, ICE COLD A/C and a stack of receipts from the restoration. It had over 60k spent on the vehicle. It has the right stance (aggressive late 60s slant) and stock appearance which I think is the best on these vehicles. All gauges, lights (original vacuum rebuilt), wipers etc. all work. The only issue is the speedometer does not currently work. Even the clock keeps perfect time.
As mentioned this runs perfect, sounds awesome and looks beautiful. Very few imperfections on the exterior. Interior has also been redone and is in beautiful condition. Dash is great with the control panel having some slight flaking of the black powder coat near the fan/AC controls. All windows roll up and down perfect. Engine bay and trunk in very clean condition. I did a four hour Hill Country Run with a club in 97 degree heat with the A/C on the entire time and it ran perfect. It has a turbo 400 3spd transmission and 4:11 gears.
