Description of 1972 Chevrolet Blazer CST

I've decided to sell this 1972 Blazer cst 4x4. I just currently have too many of these trucks to restore so this one is going away as is. Overall it's a nice ole truck. It is equipped with the CST package, and also has factory AC, all of which is still in place other than the compressor. The brackets are still there as well. The engine which appears to be the original 350, runs extremely well. It doesn't burn or leak any oil, always starts and idles perfectly. It runs down the road very nicely. This truck could easily be driven every day if so desired. It has a brand new fuel tank, Edelbrock 600 carb, fuel pump, plugs, wires, battery etc. Also the alternator is new. The distributor has been upgraded to a big cap HEI for reliability. The body has some rust, the worst being on the drivers side rocker floor area. The good news is the rocker boxes are both solid. If you haven't worked much on these trucks, it's good to know that you can buy about anything for these trucks. Including all patch panels needed to fix any rust issues. The windshield frame and cowl area are all rock solid. All glass is in excellent shape including a newer windshield. The rear view mirror is in the console. It just needs glued back on. The dash pad is new, the original seats were re upholstered years ago. The drivers seat has wore through again. The other two are in great shape. All sliders work as they should. The horn works, all lights work, brake lights, turn signals too. The transmission and 4wd work perfect. The tailgate is in real good shape on the inside unlike a lot of them. All of the hard to find little pieces are still there. sunvisors, console, which is in great shape, all of the door sliders etc etc. basically everything's there other than the ac compressor. The odometer shows 23,800. Your guess is as good as mine on actual miles. The speedo and odometer work fine. The tires are Michelin's and arn't very old at all. The mufflers are newer and it has dual exhaust all the way to the back. It sounds nice and healthy. Lots of oil pressure, it runs cool, brakes are all good, parking brake works, the top is in very good shape, as well as the hatch. Neither are cracked or broken. Of course they need to be cleaned and painted to be perfect. All top and hatch hardeware also is still in place and works as it should. Some how the top hasn't sagged like many of them either. Now just to be clear, this is an unrestored truck. It's an everyday or weekend driver, not a restored show truck or even close. This one is affordable and can be worked on as you go, or tear it completely down and build it from the frame up. The title is clear and ready to go. Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping costs. I'm happy to work with your shipper to get it loaded on a car hauler. No warranties, only bid if you are willing to own this Blazer. No games please.First generation Blazers in this condition are getting more scarce every year. These trucks are doing nothing but going up in value every month. Get one while you still can. Any questions feel free to ask. Most of these i've sold in the past sell before the auction ends, so if you are serious about owning this truck, shoot me an offer and you can take it home early. This is a no reserve auction.
