Description of 1971 Chevrolet C-10 C10

Very solid 1971 Chevy C10 short box. This truck came from Alabama where it spent most of its life. It has some minor pin hole rust in the bottom of the tail gate. rt frt inner fender under the battery tray has rust. right frt lower front on the fender has rust. Included in this sale is a very nice rust free OEM inner fender. and a decent set of front fenders. The box on this truck is very nice with NO RUST and no DENTS. The floor is very nice with no major dents. The engine is a 1978 350 4 bolt main. all original 4 brl carb with 35. 00 original miles. it runs great and does not smoke or leak oil. The trans is also a 1978 400 turbo that is in excellent working condition with no leaks and shifts perfect with 35. 00 original miles. I believe the truck was repainted the original blue many years ago. It is faded and has patina look to it at the present time. There are scratches and some minor dings here and there but over all a very solid un cut truck. It has the original cab mounts and braces on it. and are very solid! All the glass good. good seat. dash pad is cracked. This is a power steering and power brake truck with disc in the front and drums in the rear. Has some brakes. but not great. drive shaft is new. with a new 400 turbo yoke and ujoints. but is about 3-4 inches to short. It is hooked up in the truck but needs to be mofified to proper length. With very little work this truck can be driven anywhere. or total restore. It is one of the most solid trucks I have seen for the age. it is a short box that is not all beat up or cut up! I feel I have discribed this truck truth fully and honest. I know ther I things I am forgetting. but this truck is what it is. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. I had intentions of doing a full resto on this truck but have to many other projects to finish. Has new headers. but no exhaust pipes or mufflers. new 1 wire feed chrome alternator. On Feb-01-15 at 04:49:06 PST. seller added the following information:I have all the trim pieces except for upper box trim on drivers side. Heater controls are sticky so I will include a very nice working heater control. This is a rear leaf spring suspension truck. It was ordered from the factory with leaf springs. Truck starts and runs excellent!! The engine is completely stock and never been torn down. The engine and trans were removed from a 1978 motor home with 35. 00 original miles. It is a 4 bolt main engine with original Q-jet carb that performs like it should! Transmission shifts great with no leaks! I bought this truck with out an engine or trans with intentions of restoring it. I have several other projects to finish so I spent some time to get this running so I could sell. I installed the engine /trans. bolted a set of new headers on. installed new Ing switch. wired a new one wire feed alternator. Truck runs great!
