Description of 1966 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

I purchased this 1966 Chevrolet Biscayne wagon from its original owner about a year ago. It was parked in a Vancouver garage sometime in the 80’s and didn’t turn a wheel until we dragged it out in November 2013. It is a 6-cylinder. stick shift. with an AM Radio and not much else. It has a 12 bolt non-posi rear end. The body is pretty straight with one dent near the left rear taillight. The rear bumper is pushed in a bit as well. The front clip including the bumper. splash pan and grille are very straight. There is relatively little rust on the body and the floor pans are quite solid. Unfortunately. the garage where the car sat for almost 30 years had a dirt floor and there is substantial chassis rust. The frame rails on both sides have rust holes and there is rust damage to the frame near where the right rear control arm mounts. All glass is very good although the windshield has a very tiny rock chip. The seats are in decent shape except for a split seam on the driver’s seatback. This Chevy is missing the battery. transmission. drive shaft and cross member but is otherwise complete. The bias ply whitewall tires hold air and the car rolls but the brakes are shot. The engine is non-running and is complete but it is seized. As noted above. the frame will require replacement or major repair in order to get this wagon back on the road. I haven’t found the time or ambition to take on this project so have decided to offer it for sale. The odometer shows 43. 70 miles but I expect it is on its second time around. Please inspect the pictures carefully and ask if you have any questions. I have tried to describe the car accurately but make no warranty as to its condition. The car is registered in my name.
