Description of 1968 Chevrolet Impala

Up for auction is a beautiful 1968 Chevy Impala Custom Coupe. The vehicle was purchased in 2010 from the original owner. It is a California car and has been kept in the garage under a car cover since I got it back from the shop that restored it. I replaced weather stripping. front bushings. rear motor seal. rear control arm. tie rods and centerlink. The car drives very well and runs awesome. The paint was done in a Brandywine Kandy and has a gallon of clear. It does have a nick behind the rear window but was touched up and really isn't that bad at all. I am doing my best to describe what I have done to bring this vehicle back to life and make her the beauty she is today but being that this has several thousands of dollars invested im sure to forget a few items so please ask any questions if you have any concerns and I will answer them the best I can and if possible send you a photo of the area in question. I even replaced all the break cylinders and had them adjusted. this vehicle has good alignment and steers as smooth as todays vehicles. I will be attaching more photos in a day or 2. The vehicle has a kenwood CD player with Rockford fosgate speakers and sounds really nice. The vehicle has never had hydraulics or air bags in it. It has a 327 V8 with dual exhaust and runs great. I had the motor gone through and made sure she was in top notch running condition. As I posted in what the car needs its pretty much minor repairs. The gear selector indicator doesn't mark what gear your in. I was going to remove the cluster and repair it but never got around to it. The car doesn't need much to finish 100% and it wont cost a lot either. I have taken the time to do all I felt was important and needed to be done professionally the rest is stuff you can do in your garage minus welding in the rear seat floor panels. In all honesty this car is beautiful and runs very good. I am selling her so she doesn't waste away and perhaps someone else can enjoy taking their family out to car shows or weekend cruises. I have driven the car a few times on 130 mile roundtrip drives and no problems whatsoever. You will enjoy this vehicle. She has skirts (aftermarket)but they look good. Rally wheels with like new tires. Vehicle has original black and yellow plates.
