Description of 1972 Chevrolet El Camino

For sale is my factory 1972 matching numbers Chevy El Camino "400" LS3 396/402 big block truck. Original matching numbers engine, trans and rear end. This truck has been unmolested for 45 years and still runs and drives perfectly with lots of power, smooth idle and the trans shifts nice and firm. Original black interior, vinyl bench seat, standard dash, factory Green/silver paint, fact AM radio, dash clock, original wheels, unmolested dash in perfect condition, factory A/C, factory cruise control, power steering, power brakes, TH400 trans, 12 bolt rear end, hard to find factory cargo rails and factory front bumper guards. 2000 lb rear tow hitch. Car is amazingly complete. A real big block survivor car. Was originally built here in Van Nuys, but was delivered to Tulsa Oklahoma....hence the rust damage you see. The interior is mint. Two small tears in the seat and the headliner is near perfect. Doors close solidly. All original body panels and the truck has never been in any major or minor accident (you can tell). The body has surface rust under the chassis, but the floors & bed supports solid. The interior of the cab is perfect. No rust whatsoever. Rockers are perfect. No typical rotting at the bottom of the rear window onto the floor or the spare tire area. No typical rotting at the bottom of the front windshield to under the cowl. The floors are completely rust free and clean. The rear bed will need to have patch panel done. Both rear quarters need patch panels over the wheel wheels and behind, the inner wheel wells are fine. The rear lower sections of the front fenders have the typical rust that gets behind the fender which can also be repaired with patch panels. ALL of these panels are available via Year One, OPG or other similar sheet metal outlets. Otherwise, the car is amazingly solid. The key buzzer still even works as well as the AM radio. All lights work. No leaks to speak of. This is the perfect car if you're looking to build a fake SS 454 car or just restore a factory big block. This car runs and drives and has a clear title in my name. It can be driven home or towed away. Asking $7,000 or best offer. 50% Deposit due in 3 days after closing of auction, in cash, or other arrangements.Clean CA title. Car is sold as is with no warranty. Buyer is responsible to inspect vehicle prior to the end of the auction. The car is also for sale locally so i reserve the right to end the auction early. Serious buyers, if you have any questions.....just send me a message. Thanks.
