Description of 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport |
| This is an original California 1967 SS 396 Chevelle (138 VIN – the real deal) with a 468 CID an M21 4 speed and shiny black paint. This Chevelle is straight and shines a ton. I bought this car in 2009 in Livermore California and it had spent it's life there until mid 2013 when I moved to north Florida. It has been pampered and garage kept since I've owned it. I may have put 1000 miles on it in these 5 years or so. In 2011 the 396 (not original) was replaced with the 468. Some of the features of this car are:-The engine is a marine block 454. bored . 30 over. for a total 468 CID. The engine has approximately 10K miles total on it. Only about 500 miles while in this car. -Edelbrock aluminum heads- Edelbrock fuel pump - NOS flywheel (made in USA) - Newer steering box - New clutch - New Hurst shifter and linkage - MSD electronic ignition - Front disc brakes - New large radiator (does not overheat) - 3. 73 12 bolt posi rear-end - New intake manifold - New Holley 850 carburetor - Headers. ceramic coated and installed by Sanderson - New alternator-Alan Grove brackets-New starter-New Optima red top battery - 3 inch MagnaFlow exhaust - Recent redone correct bucket seats and rear seat - Powder coated dash-Power steering-Rebuilt steering column-Original AM radio-New windshield-Rear airbags and air shocks-BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. very low miles-American Racing Torque Thrust Originals wheels-Chevrolet (Bowtie) Tachometer-Worry free paint! Not perfect. some slight spots of orange peel. Items that need attention on this car:-Ding in hood (sad story). hood needs repaint-Newer interior headliner. but right rear sail needs work-Heater hoses removed. core blocked off.
