Cruisin Classics is fortunate enough to have a classic from 1950 in the form of a Chevrolet 3100 Pickup. It is a 68 year old driver that has maintained much of it's originality but has a few new parts to make the tires go around even better. The title states 98k actual miles and for her age...still holding her own. The stake-bed truck is fresher than the original bed and is a great replacement for it. The exterior is straight and in great shape for a '50. It does have a couple of small blemishes that can be attended to and remedied. It also has a hitch on the back bumper for light loads. The car comes with some new additions that are still in a box such as New chrome front bumper, New door panels, headliner, New turn signal lens, New rear LED tail-lights, New chrome drivers side mirror and New and on the truck is a new air filter and chrome air cleaner. Truck was just recently serviced, has clean 15W oil and runs quite well. The engine compartment boasts a 235 cubic inch engine (Blue Flame), 1bbl (with working manual choke on the dash)paired with a manual 4-speed transmission and being a straight 6....plenty of room to work on anything in there. Starting it is as easy as turning the key to the on-side, press the starter down by the gas pedal and next thing you know, your firing on all cylinders and headed to the show. Inside you will find a bench seat, big Chevrolet steering wheel, long-stick floor shifter, e-brake and all stock dash and gauges.The Rear Axle, Suspension, Brakes, Fuel System are all stock and true to the truck.The whitewall tires are ATLAS bias-ply that wrap around steel wheels and Chevrolet hubs and trim rings.While this truck is not perfect, it certainly brings a lot to the table and could bring the next owner a ton of enjoyment starting on day 1.
