A Project worth Restoring!

1969 Nova SS

396 350 HP, Muncie M-20 and 12 bolt rear end.

This car was in storage for a long time and than became part of an estate.

The SS Nova is a very popular car to clone. It is extremely difficult to find a car with a born with engine. A complete, real Nova SS with a matching engine are few and far between. This car has great documentation. The stampings on the block and transmission match up to the car. There is even a broadcast sheet. I have a clear title for the car.

This is a project. The report is just what I see. Please look over the pictures and the description. If you have any additional questions, please call me. I know my way around a car and can answer specific questions.

Mechanical Report

• As you can see, the block was cleaned and so was the cam. These two items will need to be re checked for a rebuild.
• The heads are correct for the car and un touched.
• Original water pump, intake,
• Alternator was rebuilt,
• Un-sure of the carburetor.

Body Report

The car comes from the desert, so it is very solid.

• The usual rust was taken care by installing new quarter skins. They are welded on nice, and they should be finished blocked for paint.
• There is no rust around the windshield jambs.
• The Roof skin is in excellent shape.
• Floors are all original
• Trunk has a new center section and needs to be finished off
• Doors and fenders are original and have not had any work done to them.
• Hood has some rust
• Fenders will need a small amount of metal work

Misc Parts Report

• Front and rear bumper with brackets are there
• 99% of the chrome is there, some of the pieces need clean up
• Front grille and tail lights are there.
• Front and back bench seat are there
• Original shifter mechanism
• All side glass there
• Back glass is there
• Missing windshield
• All the wiring is there
• Headlights and tail lights are there.
