Description of 1966 Chevrolet C-10 Custom

Selling for a friend, non-internet literate, and I am not a car guy/seller so I will do the best I can. Please ask any questions you may have before purchase. 1966 Chevrolet C-10 Pick-up, Restored, albeit a few years ago. Current owner has had this for 2 years, bought as shown. 350 Chevy Motor, 350 Automatic Transmission, and has Aluminum Elderbrock Carb and Intake. Has been converted to an automatic with a push button FLOOR shifter, but still retains the clutch pedal. Good tires with lots of tread, Vintage Crager Chrome Wheels. Dual Header Exhaust all the way to the rear. Hidden Trailer Hitch. Wood Deck with Stainless Strips. Grant Steering Wheel, Disable Alarm system. Seat has been redone and looks nice. Even has a wire spring-loaded Cowboy hat rack in the cab! Owner wanted me to point out that there is no rust in the cab supports - taken care of during restoration. Has small tapped holes for snap / tonneau / rear cover installation if desired. Chrome bumpers shine. Gas tank has been professionally moved to the rear - see gas flap on driver's side. Owner says keeps really good 40lbs+ oil pressure even when warm. Drives really well, good acceleration, should be fine to drive anywhere home. Good frame, no rust. Don't know if mileage is 98k or 198k - looks like 98k to me. FLAWS - Clear Coat is starting to peel in a few places on the hood, marked "HILLBILLY DeeLuxe" on the rear below the cab, which could be a good or a bad thing depending on your preference (personally I have a small streak of southern redneck in me, from spending so much time in southern GA), neither gas gauge (in the dash or below the dash) works. Has a good ding under the driver's door mirror. Heater blower is not working. Not a show truck but not THAT far from it. Has a few tiny spots here and there to fix up. The paint is quite thick. This was customized to the previous (2 years prior) owner's specs. I was told he really enjoyed it before his passing. Lots of fun to drive. Gets lots of attention. Can arrange with your shipper to have this arriving looking the same as the photos, or local pick-up, located in Woodstock, MD 21163. Can arrange inspection/cruise for serious buyers prior to sale. $500 deposit within 24hrs of purchase please. Additional photos on request. Subject to local sale prior to your bid, but doubtful.
