Description of 1972 Chevrolet C-10 Cheyenne

1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne C-10 pick up truck. This truck was highly optioned for 1972. The truck started out life as a Air Conditioned, V-8 350 truck with factory tachometer. See the glove box sticker picture still in good condition.
The truck's original 350 V-8 with 400 turbo transmission are gone and truck currently has a 1968 V-8 327 with a 350 turbo that does not go with this ad but could be purchased separately. I also have a date coded correct 1972 running V-8 Big Block 402 that would be correct for this year truck complete from carburetor to pan and front pulleys to flywheel as well as the matching 400 turbo transmission.
The truck was a barn find for me. I am purchasing several trucks from the owner and agreed in helping him sell this one.i am selling the truck for him and I have a clear title in hand in his name. I will attempt to describe condition as best I can. Please free free to call me or text to request additional information as I can only write so much.
When I first saw the truck, the front end was disassembled from the truck. I asked the owner why and he said the motor was hurt so he hired a young man to do an engine swap for him with the 327- 350 turbo combination. Apparently the guy he hired disassembled the front end, front fenders and could not get the engine hoisted high enough so then he cut the core support at the radiator. (I know, your like me and you want to kill this guy correct?) I have a good core support that comes with the truck as well as the cut one. I assembled the front end just enough to tow it home. I am missing one of hood hinges so hood is just sitting on the truck. The truck has hard to find air conditioning cab. The cab is not all rusted out above the windshield like they all did. It has had some repairs in the floor like most. Same with the bed floor. The frame appears to be fine shape as does the rear end.
The interior retains the Air Conditioning components as well as the heater core and A/C box on the fire wall. The coveted tachometer is still in place as well as its wiring. The plastic lens with contains the numbers is faded and needs replaced( lens are cheap). The truck is a great starting point for a fun father son project, rat rod, Farm Truck clone, you name it.
