Description of 1964 Chevrolet C-10 Base (with deluxe side trim)

This beautiful 1964 C-10 is not a show truck and it was never meant it to be.
It has lots of small scratches and a few dents and isn't wearing a GM truck color (the photo of the body tag clearly shows the cab at least was "505 - Dark Green"....). The previous owner at least had the entire truck professionally sprayed and clear-coated in what could be considered a very "period" tone, even if the bumps and bruises were left as-is.
What it is is a perfect daily driver that gets tons of praise, one that I've used to haul away brush or yard waste and carry large packages and lumber, etc. by protecting the bed in carpet and blankets.
In other words, I've restored this truck to maintain an all-original look, but still put it to good work. Almost every section of this truck has either been reconditioned, replaced or renewed.
The frame is super-straight and the bed-cab alignment as you can see is nice and parallel.
The drivetrain is the original 230-I6 and it starts instantlyand idles so smoothly through the original 1-bbl and manual choke set-up. Lots of power and confident shifting are given by the new clutch and original 3-speed.
New Coker Firestone pie-crust bias ww tires including spare. The OEM six-lug rims were sprayed by me to match the body, as per original spec.New 11" brake drums, all-new shoes and hardware. Hydraulics done by previous owner not long before I acquired it.New parking brake cables and rebuilt lever/actuators under cab.New oak bed kit and stainless strips from LMC plus all stainless fasteners. I stained it in Antique Oak then applied a top-end Helmspar semi-gloss for maximum UV protection.New tailgate chains and latches, stainless gate cap.I was able to locate some outstanding painted hubcaps for the '64 and just had them powder-coated last week in the correct cream, then masked/sprayed with GM orange inserts.New bench upholstery and Beam's seatbelts to complement the correct Fawn Gold (beige) interior. Fuel cell is perfect.New polished SS sill plates; rubber sill strips are non-GM but clean up the look. Same thing on the rear bumper - it makes a safer step up into the bed.New DeLuxe trim on doors and bedsides, attached with much better clips from Henry's than the miserable spring clips GM was hoping we'd use...New bumpers finished in catalyzed acrylic; grille and headlamp doors in same finish.
All necessary electrical circuits work: wipers, lo and hi headlights, turn signals, front/rear parking lights, rear license tag lights, instrument dimmer and cab light, generator and battery, etc. With the radio delete and no reverse lights, the system is as simple as it could be. The heater core and pull-knob valve function great with lots of hot air; the blower does work but is intermittent. Motor could likely stand to be cleaned out.
I also have a brand-new-in-box kit from LMC for the window channels and beltline whiskers. Nothing urgent on these, just wanted to clean up the look around the door, so it comes with the truck for you to install one day.
Also included but not shown: glove box manual, large service manual for the 1963 C-10 (brand new reprint) and an original GM Supplement Manual that covers the upgrades/changes for the 1964 C-10. The self-adjusting brakes ar a good example of these improvements.
Have no garage storage for the C-10 anymore since my January 2018 purchase of another classic that needs coverage. I can help with loading your delivery carrier at this end, but please take care of all shipping details on your end.
I included a shot of today's newspaper just to prove that these are 100% current photos. Thanks for looking and good luck!
