Description of 1977 Chevrolet Nova

1977 Chevrolet Nova 2 Owner Factory original 350 V8 4 speed manual Special Order car with all paperwork (window sticker, build sheet, dealer special order form, etc.). No Nova Super Sports offered in 1977 so original owner ordered car with 350 V8, M20 4 speed manual trans, F41 sport suspension, 3.08 positraction rear end, black factory custom bucket seat interior with console, rally wheels, etc. Restoration finished 3 years ago with original shade of silver in base/clear, rebuilt original engine and transmission, new carpet, weatherstrip, factory correct seat upholstery. Some tasteful upgrades done such as wood aftermarket steering wheel, 15" rally wheels, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and carb. All new Vintage AC and heat system. All original parts will go with the new owner. VERY RARE! Only 1,934 4 speed Novas out of 365,264 built in 1977. (Novaresource.com) Of all the years of Nova, only 1979 had fewer 4 speeds manufactured (616) and that's because it was the last year and they had a short production run ending in December 1978. This is probably the nicest '77 4 speed Nova left in the world. It runs and drives great and is ready for a new caretaker. It is very nice in and out and underneath but not perfect...most dash gauges don't work...fuel gauge does and has auxiliary oil pressure and water temperature. Serious bidders only. Feedback under 20 will be canceled. I encourage you to contact me for additional information or schedule to see in person. $500 non-refundable deposit required within 24 hours of auction end. Buyer to contact me ASAP to set up pick up details in Sarasota, Florida (50 miles south of Tampa). Balance to be paid in cash or bank transfer upon pick up. Thanks for looking. In response to several questions I will give additional details... Very solid body to start with prior to restoration. All original body panels, floors, trunk, and even original bumpers. Only had minimal rust in bottom of doors and fenders but no rust in quarter panels, floor, or trunk. All photos of car prior to and during restoration will be included with the sale. Sent car to body man with fenders off. I believe prior to paint he hung/aligned fenders and did a final block sand then painted and wet sanded (some pics are included in album of car in progress at shop). It is a very nice/smooth finish. Only the door glass stayed in during paint. The front, back, and rear side glass came out with a brand new windshield installed afterward. It does have a mild Jeg's Performance camshaft as the original had a bad lobe (Jeg's pn 200002 with .420/.442 lift and 262/272 degrees duration). I do have all important paperwork including original window sticker, color copy of original title, dealership special order form and original sales invoice, build sheet, Bodyguard rust inhibiting service warranty contract, odometer mileage statement when 1st owner picked car up...003 miles (three miles), original sales brochure, owners manual, and original warranty paperwork. I will try to take a few more pics to post of underside, etc. The car took approx. 2 years to restore and has been finished and driven occasionally over the last approx. 3 years. The 350 engine and the trans are both what the car was born with and both were rebuilt. It runs, shifts, and drives very well with all new urethane Energy Suspension body bushings. The speedometer didn't work before restoration and was not removed or attempted to repair. The factory tach needle works but reads too high...not even close to accurate. Fuel gauge does work but to old car standards...don't let it get to less than 1/4 tank or you may be walking! Aftermarket oil pressure and temp gauges work fine. Thanks for your interest.

Just added more pictures and I forgot to say that factory volt gauge does work. Thanks.
