Description of 1987 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

1987 Chevy SWB 1/2 Ton HOT ROD Pickup
This is a really cool little truck that has had a ton of work done on it. It has a 454 and 400 Turbo. 454 has a hot Comp cam with roller rockers, runs great, and looks good. Trans has a shift kit. This truck is a real sleeper!
Body is VERY straight, and the interior is in great condition as well. It is a Texas truck with no rust issues. It appears to have one repaint at some point, paint is nice, and the truck WAS originally white. It has new tires on it and lots of new parts/ work that I will list below. Truck runs great, sounds great, and everything seem to operate as it should. It has power steering and power brakes, power windows and locks (both work properly, but windows are slow as most of these year models seem to be). It does not smoke or burn oil, and it has been sitting in the same spot in my shop for about 5 weeks and the only drop of fluid under it is about the size of a silver dollar -- so for one of these trucks, I'd pretty much call it leak free.
I pulled the valve covers off of it and what I can see in the 454 looks like brand new. No sludge, junk, build up, etc. Keep in mind this thing is a hot rod with a biggish cam. It has a lope to it, and runs like a hot rod-- not like one with a 305 in it.
All glass in in good condition, and the doors close tight and don't sag like so many of these do.
The truck has what appears to be a "do it yourself" bedliner, which is in nice condition. It also has a fuel cell in the bed, which I guess was put in it when the gas door and stake pockets were slicked off.
It is an a/c truck but the compressor is off. I assume it was taken off when they did the engine swap.
New Stuff:
454 and 400 Turbo -- both rebuilt with less than 5k miles from what the previous owner told me, and I've known him for a long time, so no real reason to doubt it.

Clear Texas Title with no issues
I would call the paint a 6.5-7 on a 1-10 scale -- for whatever that's worth. The paint is nice, but it's not a $10k paint job.
This is a nice truck, and it is located in Athens, Texas. If you are interested I encourage you to contact me and come see it, as I HATE to sell things without people seeing them, but that being said, I will do my best to accurately represent it. If you have questions, PLEASE contact me.
I AM LISTING THIS TRUCK WITH A LOW STARTING PRICE AND NO RESERVE BECAUSE I REALLY NEED THE PARKING SPACE. If you are interested in a buy it now price, contact me and we'll see what we can work out. My goal here is to sell the truck.....
I have no problem assisting with a shipper picking it up-- obviously the shipping would be the buyers expense.
