Description of 1948 Chevrolet Other Pickups

This 1948 Chevy truck has already been removed from it's original frame and adapted onto a later model Chevy S-10 Chassis. You can see by the pictures a lot of work has been done but it needs finishing with your choice of drive train. electrical. etc. Please look carefully as I am selling this as is. it is a project and needs some further mechanical work not for the beginner. Due to the recent wet weather the 17" Chrome wheels are sporting some dirt and will clean up nice ( not perfect)and the tires have weather checking. The center caps are included in one of the pictures. The seat frame is in the cab. I do have a set of seats in rough condition if you want them. We have a good Tennessee Title in my name and the vin plate is pictured also. Pretty good floors with a few areas that have some holes. I took pictures of all the angles to show what has rust and what does not. The cab is mounted very well and the bed has new framework. The glass is cracked but can be used as a pattern for your local glass shop. This is a project that can be left with it's current cool factor or continue the improvements to your taste and choice.
