Quite possibly the ultimate pinnacle of seven generations of America's favorite sports car, this world class 1964 Corvette is a phenomenal example of what happens when top- notch technique meets first-rate componentry. Staying true to its original styling this road ready resto mod is an exhilarating combination of retro glitz and modern glam. The Silver Blue Pearl paint reflects an excellent shine that glows under the sun. The modern two-stage paint covers a beautiful body, with razor- sharp fenders, and beautiful gaps. The result is a one off, stunning, arrow-straight showpiece that displays a level of finish world's better then when this C2 was brand new.

The best thing about building a pro-touring C2 is: the aggressive and elegant styling. At the front of this beautiful Sting Ray, a new stainless, body-width grille that is caged between red, white, and black cross-flags, chrome- trimmed parking lamps and the traditional razor blade bumpers. Above, the grille, an intimidating Stinger Hood frames a brilliant Torch Red Stripe with the famous "427" emblems. Looking beyond the hood, bright wipers, freshly restored/polished stainless trim, chrome bowtie mirror, and all new factory-tint glass. Look past the glass and you will see simple heat extractors riding between chrome door handles, and NOS rocker panels. Getting to the rear of the car, four traditional tail lights reflect two razor blade bumpers, two stainless exhaust times, an original 1964 chrome-trimmed fuel filler and the famous 'Corvette Sting Ray' insignia.

Powering this classy C2 corvette is a new LS7 crate engine producing 505 SAE-certified horsepower into a massive 470 lb/ft of tire shredding torque. The Ls7 was founded in GM's very successful Corvette racing program it utilizes a forged crank, titanium rods, and hypereutectic pistons to flat out whip most anything on four wheels. Items such as 2.5-inch ceramic coated shorty headers, aluminum radiator, dry-sump lubrication, Taylor plug wires and an electric puller fan help ensure rocket-like acceleration.

Having a featherweight body and outrageous power on tap, it should be no surprise that the bottom of this C2 coupe features a host of noteworthy upgrades. Street Shop's Custom made C4 Chassis was the perfect foundation for this corvettes restoration. Backing the stout LS7 is a fresh Tremec 5-speed that twists torque to a Dana 44 third member. This corvette rolls on fourth generation Corvette independent suspension that has been fitted with new QA1 coil-overs and modern power rack and pinion steering. Smooth and solid stops are provided by the C6 Z06 brakes with bright red calipers and huge, vented rotors. A set of C6 Z06 Spyder-style wheels, spin

Open up the doors of this C2 and you will find a plush red interior. Seating comes courtesy of freshly redone Al Knoch leather seats which are anchored between new seat belts, bright stainless trim and a small center console that's centered on the original chrome shifter. From the driver's seat, an era-correct, Vintage Air backed dash has the correct gauges, clock, and modern AM/FM Factory styling radio. Below the dash you will find like new carpet and new chrome sills. Above those sills you will find new Al Knoch leather door panels, with small armrests and correct chrome handles in front of factory power windows. In front of the driver, an original Wood grain steering wheel spins the brilliant corvette cross flag emblem. The storage compartment is finished in all new carpet and has plenty of room for golf clubs and a couple of small suitcases.

If you're looking for a sports car with vintage styling and top notch performance, you have found the perfect car. This Sting Ray is faster than 95% of all the cars on the road, it has modern handling, durability, comfort, and even gets good gas mileage. This Pro Touring Sting Ray is fully sorted and ready to be enjoyed!!
