Factory 1967 Chevy "DANA/Spicer" 4wd CST K10

I will let the pictures tell most of the story, but this was done right, note the attention to detail in the doors and engine compartment where ALL the components were removed and either restored or replaced before the painting was done. There is no paint over any of the screws, door latches, trim fire wall, etc... this attention to detail must have taken hundreds of man hours.

Here are the current known specs:

Engine = GM Good wrench 350ci Crate Engine 195 HP part no. 10067353

Someone had put in a rebuilt 350 before I purchased it, and it had a cracked block so I had a new crate engine installed. It has ~800 miles on it.

Engine Cross Member = The factory cross member had been replaced by a heavy duty off road three piece unit.. This is a nice upgrade because it allows full access to the oil pan without having to lift the engine, upgrades the vintage 'pad' style motor mounts to the stronger bushing style.

Interior

A deluxe package made the pickup even more eye catching. Chevrolet referred to this top of the line as the CST. (Custom Sport Truck) Exterior extras were decorative side moldings, (removed by prior owner) chrome bumpers, and hub caps, large rear window plus windshield with polished stainless steel trim.

FACT: The bright trim on the CST tailgate was the first time a Chevrolet had made it available on a pickup. The CST emblem is always on each door just below the window bottom.

The CST interior was the real extra for the new owner. Color coordinated padded door panels, with arm rests, and vinyl seats were a plus. Two bucket seats were part of the CST package and were made with additional padding for the traveler. In place of a console, offered a few years later, the space between the seats was filled by what some called a "buddy seat”. Its small lower cushion could be raised to expose a storage compartment. Its back cushion could be lowered to give a wide arm rest for passenger and driver.

Almost all of the hard and soft trim seals, gaskets, bumpers etc... have been replaced with restoration parts, here is a partial list of what I can tell is new.

Seats - Frame restored, new seat bottoms and backs and vinyl, there is a couple of minor scratches on the drivers seat.

Carpet - New restoration that matches the original

Door Panels - Are rests, chrome, door and window handles, trim screws

Heat controls - Stock - The Defroster lever was broke off when I bought it but the Air/Fan and Heat work fine.

Ashtray and lighter - Stock and work great

Glove box - has new insert, bumpers black trim chrome buttons and trim

Sun visors - New restoration visors and mounts

Steering Wheel/Column - Stock restored

Shifters - Both are stock with Restoration boots and trim

Emergency Brake - Fully functional stock 'Under Dash' style

Radio

Head Unit - New Retro Sound Model Two AM/FM with iPod/iPhone, USB MP3/WMA Playback. There is an iPod/Phone cord routed into the center console for ease of use. There is a remote microphone routed just to the left of the driver's sun visor. The dash center speaker is stock and NOT hooked up to the radio.

Door Speakers - The Alpine SPR-60C & SPR-60 Type R 2-Way 1260 Watt 6-1/2" Component + Coaxial Car Speakers in the doors (yeah I know... they were already cut when I bought it...) with adjustable tweeters.
