This is one Rare find. You can see this car on youtube under JIMS RARE BARN FINDS. This car is a one owner 1966 Impala Station wagon. The owner bought it brand ne, he traded a 57 chevy station wagon in on trade and they gave him $800 back in 1965. Paul ordered this car with the factory corvette drive line. A 427/390 hp 4 speed and a factory 12 bolt rear end. 6 passenger car. I have been told this is just one of a hand full that were made. SUPER RARE. This car was setting in a building in Clevland Ohio, since 1980. The car comes with the factory window sticker and sales invoice. Paul bought this car new and ordered the car this way so he could pull his 1957 chevy race car. The car had a heavy duty hitch welded on the frame on the back, but since we got the car it has been removed. Paul had put bucket seats in the car and we took them out and put in the factory bench seat. The motor was never taken out till we got it to the shop and pulled it. It is the original motor to the car, we repainted it and took all the after market stuff off the motor and engine bay and put it all back to factory specs, right down to the date coded spark plug wires. Its has a new clutch and pressure plate, and the fly wheel was turned. New brake lines and wheel cylinders, it still has the original brake shoes. The car only has 34000 original miles. Everything in the car works but the clock on the dash, it probably needs cleaned. Even the factory tach works in the dash, (when is the last time you seen a factory tach in a station wagon). It has a new heater core in it, so now the heater will burn you out, it gets so hot, it works great. The factory radiator was record. The exhaust system is all new. We put the factory rims and hub caps on it with new cooker red lines. The paint on the car is original all the chrome is original, and the chrome looks really good almost like new. The paint has some rust spots from were it was setting in the leaking building. The bottom of the car is rock solid. Very solid car. It still has the TT3 head lights in it. This is a very original car. That sounds and runs and shifts great. Take it to any car shows, it will be the only one. This super RARE car comes with all the paper work to prove it is real.
