Description of 1950 Chevrolet Business Coupe --

Business coupes always have the perfect proportions to make a cool street machine. So when this 1950 Chevrolet has been custom-built with bold paintwork, A/C comfort, five-speed manual transmission, and unique 302 power, then it's everything you want in a custom... and best of all, it's ready to be yours today for quite an obtainable price. Everyone loves the sleek look of Chevy's first post-war design. It was fairly groundbreaking when it first appeared, which is why it became the... darling of the custom car crowds. This legacy is seen on nearly every inch of the exterior. It starts with a coat of classic black lacquer. But of course, what really grabs your attention is the fireball that consumes the front end and works its way down the door line. But that's far from the only unique piece. This is a full custom build that borrows elements from the best of the classic chrome era, including a '54 Buick grille, '54 Pontiac taillights, '53 Cadillac headlights, '56 Chevy parking lights, and '49 Plymouth bumpers. Plus, the dual spotlights, louvered hood, sun visor, and fender skirts all come together to make this a coupe that will make people stop and stare. The interior was given a makeover that respects the original design, yet adds a plenty of modern and functional upgrades. For example, this holds true to the business coupe style with a bench in front and storage in the rear. But the upgrade to a yellow seat insert with yellow piping is exactly what you want on a wild child like this. This look terrific with the matching door panels and shift knob. Plus, the steering wheel cover has a great flame-kissed cover that coordinates with the floor mats for a full uniform presentation. This one was built to be a cruiser, so you can see some very handy upgrades like the AM/FM/cassette radio and a cold air conditioning system. And as you look through the newer Chevy steering wheel, you get a clear view of the large VDO speedo and tach upgrade. It's a nice indication of something special under the hood. Plenty of performance machine have 302 cubic-inch motors, but this one will have people stopping to take a much close look. It's not a V8 but actually one of the largest GM inline sixes that went into consumer cars. So this keeps the lineage of the original-style motor that would have come in this business coupe, but the displacement is upgraded into V8 territory - how cool is that?! Other nice '50s performance upgrades include a Carter WCFB four-barrel carburetor, a Clifford intake, and glasspacks on the dual exhaust. More than the best classic upgrades, this one has been given the right more modern components, too. It includes a HEI ignition, new fuel pump, and a new water pump. Plus, you get the best control of this motor with a five-speed manual transmission. Also, the ride is improved with power steering, a versatile 3.55 rear end, and upgraded dampering on the rear suspension. Add in Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires and front disc brakes, and this custom street machine is also a great anytime cruiser. This is a head-turning machine that will have people talking. So it's amazing something so unique is also so obtainable. Call today!!!
