Description of 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Chrome & Gold Anodized Bel Air trim

This vehicle was appraised on April 4, 2018 by the Auto Appraisal Network for $52,500.00 US dollars. Appraisers Report Comments:
"On the date appraised, this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air represented a very good example of this true American Classic 2-Dr Sport Coupe.
As noted on the Vehicle Option Pages (see photos) and as depicted on the many enclosed digital photographs (see photos) this '57 Bel Air has been professionally restored in 1996 back to a near perfect, as factory condition. The current owner purchased it shortly after the restoration was complete.
The VIN indicates it came with a V-8 engine, 1957 model year, and was built in the Oakland, CA assembly plant. Both the exterior paint and interior was restored to the original specifications.
In addition to the noted condition, this '57 Bel Air has a very desirable option package that includes 283 CID V-8 motor, 3-speed manual transmission w/overdirve, and is in a very good overall condition.
This Bel Air is in remarkable condition given that the restoration was done 22 years ago. The body is in great shape except for the large chip dent in the front hood caused by a rock. There were some usual minor scrapes on the wheel rims, some slight surface rust in the undercarriage, dirt grease on the engine, and the frayed hose to the carburetor. Other than that this car has been well taken care of, always garaged and driven sparingly.
This vehicle is typical of the type automobile that both collectors and enthusiasts sought after when looking to either add to, or expand onto their collections.
We are currently in an economy in which classic car values continue to consistently improve. Record prices are being paid at each consecutive auction for similar automobiles. As long as this trend continues, a vehicle of this caliber is likely to continue to appreciate in the foreseeable future.
The fair market value of this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is based on the average selling and asking price of similar vehicles in the market place. Allowances have been made for the noted options and condition. The fair market value does not include tax, title or registration."
