The Numbers DO match on all Engine Parts. Exhaust Manifolds. Block. Vin Etc. However the transmission is not original. but has been replaced with proper M-21. rear is stock 3:73. The differential was also replaced new to spec in 2001. The Original LS-5 motor showed 14. 00 miles at the time of the restoration in 2001. The carb is still the Original Stock Quadro-jet. /p>The restoration also included complete new stock exhaustsystem. pipes. mufflers. hangers etcThe rear bumpers were just freshly re-chromed in late 2014 . The interior was also completely restored. proper loop carpet. console plate. door panels etc. The Shifter is no longer the stock long stroke muncie - it has been replaced with a close ratio Hurst. The Radio is the proper green dial AM/FM and works perfectly. New Speakers were installed during restoration. Fiber Optics on the car are not working However all the tail lights. reverse lights. markers etc have been replaced with GM spec stock for 1970 during the restoration. The Trim Tag on this car shows 400 973 or black vinyl interior and Mille Miglia red paint and that is what the car is. however the red Mille Miglia paint code is not Standard for a 1970 Corvette and actually was not even Available until 1971. So I am not sure if the trim tag has been replaced or manipulated on this vehicle . When the restoration happened that is when it was repainted to the Mille Miglia paint code to match the trim tag. All weather stripping has been replaced. and the bird cage is in excellent condition. this is a rust free car and the glass is astro and in excellent condition.
