Description of 1978 Chevrolet Corvette Silver Anniversary

1978 Chevrolet Corvette 25th Silver Anniversary Edition - This car is all an original Corvette with only 1,875 from new. It was built in June of 1978 at the St. Louis, Missouri factory and like all Silver Anniversary cars, it comes in the Silver Anniversary only two-tone paint job. The interior has red leather and is in like new condition.The engine in this car is the L48 350 cubic inch V8 engine and has 185 horsepower and 280 ft/lbs of torque.

The car was initially sold by Newman Chevrolet in Cedarburg, Wisconsin on June 30th, 1978. Robert Widmann, of Slinger, Wisconsin purchased the car and traded in a 1976Corvette ZQ3 Coupe for $7160.89 and $5414 in cash, for a total purchase price of $12,674.89. This original vehicle invoice from Newman Chevrolet is among the photos included in this listing.
After this owner, the car was purchased by the second and current owner, Mark Pieloch. Mark purchased the car from the original owners on February 20, 2002, and at the time the car had only 1780 miles. The certificate of registration showing this purchase is included in the photos in this listing. Additional documents from about the cars past are available upon request.
Currently, the car is one of over 40 Chevrolet Corvettes in the American Muscle Car Museum in Melbourne, Florida. All cars in the 285 car collection get yearly maintenance done in-houseby the museum's expert mechanics and the vehicle is in impeccable condition. Recent repairs include a complete yearly inspection including topping off allfluids and a replacement of both of the front brake calipers.
