Answer to question as to why I did not install power steering or brakes is below that I felt I should share I below...

———————
Actually a couple of further rules I feel I should share. I am not sure if you are familiar with the driving characteristics of the c3 corvette but I would never use power brakes. The setup is very well thought out and these cars are surprisingly light resulting in low pedal pressure and a road feel that would be overpowered or lost with power brakes. Power steering would help at a dead stop but is scary at the track and should be avoided because a stalled engine will result in lost steering and an unavoidable wall hit or worse
At the most, I would consider power steering an option but true drivers of this era car would actually remove it.

Please do not bid if you do not have the funds, your spouse's permission, are currently drunk, etc. Unpaid cases do not help anyone. I make next to nothing the on the cars I build but do them proudly with excellent results as a hobby.

This car is for sale locally and I will cancel ad if it sells. We will begin taking it to larger auto shows in May where it is sure to draw a ton of interest.

Each car I build takes at least 1000 hours to fully restore and I honestly make next to nothing. this car was built with my son to interest him in the hobby andhas 30k in part receipts which I will provide with the sale not including registration fees, taxes, fluids, shipping expenses, paint prep materials, hardware, band-aids for bustedknuckles, etc.I will also provide dozens of pics of the build along the way including the way we found it, totally stripped, engine build, transmission build, sound deadener install, electrical replacement, and progress shots that brought the final project to conclusion.

This is easily a 40k car. Big block. Muncie 4speed. Positraction. Classic and beautiful Marina Blue Metalic. Modern strereo. Electronic ignition. Send me request and I will send a short video...sounds AMAZING. Head turner at any car show or cruise night.

Currently has less than 100 miles...this car even smells new!

This is one beautiful car. Runs, drives, stops, and soundsbetter than new. Color is beautiful. These cars continue to become more and more rare and this is one very special build. You could pay twice as much for a car that does not present itself any where near this car. Ready for cruising, the track, or shows....or all three! You decide how to enjoy this nostalgic muscle car!

Title is clean and clear and on hand...not a salvage or any surprises. No electrical issues. All wiring is clean and supple. All gauges and lights work including clock and center console light monitoring system! Undercarriage is completely rust free as is the entire car including all nuts/bolts, etc.

This car is being shownlocally as well and we will end listing if sold.

This car is ready to show insideand outand ready to be driven anywhere.

It is a blast to drive and draws a TON of "thumbs up" attention from collectors and other drivers every timeit is driven.

Overall Details:
This Corvette Stingray sits on a new set of Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/T Radials but that is just where this beautiful and powerful car meets the ground.
This car started as a damage free Stingray with very low original miles from the dry southwest of Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was moved to Las Vegas, NV where thecar was COMPLETELY disassembled, stripped, and refinished by a retired professional paint and body man for his own personal collection. When personal reasons drove him to sell, we picked it up and returned it to Albuquerque where we finished the mechanicals to compliment the beautiful project he had painstakingly started. The car literally started it's build less than1/2 mile away from where it now resides after being trailered to Las Vegas for paint and body and back to Albuquerque for completion.

The original engine was replaced with a warmed over and fully rebuilt 1969 dated 427, the interior was replaced with original or new restoration parts, and finally the entire drivetrain and suspension were rebuilt with new and fully rebuilt parts.

Body and Interior:
New professional Marina Blue metallic, multi-stage paint finish after being completely disassembled, stripped, and painstakingly blocked before paint to show off the sensual stingray lines.
All new emblems.
All new weather stripping including window felts, etc.
Converted to more desirable 1973 hood for additional hood clearance and sensual lines.
This car is very straight with excellent gaps throughout and has no overspray. The beautiful metallic finish glistens and dances in the sun.

New windshield.

New rear removable glass.

New oil pressure, amp, fuel, and temperature gauges.
New quartz clock movement.
New Carpet with sound deadening underlayment and new rear package storage trays.
New door panels.New crank handles and lock knobs.
New AutoSound stereo system.
New speakers, including AutoSound rear speakers.
New retractable 3-point seat belts.
Original leather seats are soft in nearly flawless condition with no tears, creases, seam issues, etc.
Fiber optic lens system converted to LED to monitor exterior lamp operation from the driver seat. These status lights were a standard item on 1970 only....very cool.

Engine:
Completely compatible with today's lead-free and ethanol enhanced fuels from the fuel tank to the tailpipe. The engine has been carefully broken-in and has not been abused in any way. The first oil change has just been completed.

The1969 427 but has been completely rebuilt with reliable go-fast goodies including...
New Edelbrock Thumper Hydraulic Cam.
New Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake manifold.
New Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor with electric choke for easy start-up.

All new fuel lines compatible with ethanol containing fuel.
New belt and hoses.
New HEI ignition with correct gear driven tachometer.
New single wire 110 amp alternator.
New DeWitts dual spal fan big block 3 core aluminum radiator module.
All new ancillary parts including water pump, pulleys, balancer, valve covers, fuel pump, oil pump, starter, etc.
New exhaust manifolds feed a completely new exhaust system from the engine to the chrome outlets including all clamps, supports, and trim.
Stock engine was conservatively rated at 390 HP in 1969 but this fresh and modern big block now pushes out more than that even at the mile-high altitude where it now resides and it sounds INCREDIBLE with a healthy lope at idle! HOLD ON and feather the pedal to keep traction at most any speed even on the wide tires that fill the rear wells perfectly!

Transmission:
Original 4 Speed Muncie was completely rebuilt including all new synchros, springs, etc.
Rebuilt linkages...even replaced back-up switch with brand new part.
New Ceramic racing clutch complete with new flywheel, new throwout bearing, new pilot bearing.
This notoriously bullet proof transmission provides positive shifts that are firm and tight without excessive pedal pressure.

Rear-end:
Entire rear end was replaced with all new components, or fully rebuilt ones, to handle the high horsepower big block starting with the synthetic filled positrac 4.10 differential. New leaf springs and completely rebuilt and balanced driveshafts with new greasable u-joints. All new polyurethane bushings.

Rear adjustable camber rods were installed to easily dial in camber based on your driving needs...more camber for hard cornering or less camber for roadways with just a few turns of the centerlink. In fact, the entire rear end is completely adjustable for height, toe-in, and camber and is built right to be incredibly reliable with no wheel hop under hard acceleration.

Brakes:
4 piston disc brakes on all 4 corners. Completely replaced braking system including master cylinder, calipers, pads, rotors, hoses, clamps and fittings on all 4 wheels.
This car stops straight and brakes are firm without excessive foot pressure.
Wheels/Tires:
New chrome 15x10 rally wheels with new derby caps.
P255/60R15 Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/T.
These higher speed rated tires have much better grip than the BF Goodrich rubber most people run.

Beautiful.

Other:
New Optima Gel Battery.
New turn signal, parking, brake, and back-up lenses.
New bulbs throughout.
New lock cylinders and keys.
New headlight switch.
New wiper switch.
New shocks on all 4 corners.

Electric headlight motor conversion.
Newwiper motor and washer system.
New heater core.
New fuel tank and sending unit.
All new fuel lines compatible with ethanol containing fuel.
New belt and hoses.
Even has a new fuel cap.

Stock hood is perfect including new pad and was also repainted and fitted at same time and is available if buyer arranged shipment.

Only issue:
Odometer just stopped working when we reset the trip. I have the drive gear to fix it and will provide it along with a $200 refund if I have not already replaced itbefore the car ships to winning bidder.
