Have new door panels, rear bed fiberglass cover top, rear tailgate sheet metal panel in garage, will pull out and post more pictures .. >>SS CLONE<< previous owner added hood cowl induction that is fully functional, and tailgate, fender badges. Please note this is not a real SS model el Camino.. 396 v8 325 hp. 4 bbl Holley carb. Looks sharp in silver metallic paint with black hood stripe. Hood stripe faded, has hood pins and cold air cowl induction hood functional, but missing vacuum opening door assembly.Floor pans good shape, but rust rear driver floor pan. see picture. Rear bed some rust by front area. Rear window frame no rust. See pictures rust bubble pass lower front door skin. Paint crack pass window frame to roof edge. Previous body shop owner replaced both rear quarters and painted elky about 15 years ago..I bought it then and just did mechanical repair, heads = 3 angle valve job and trans rebuild with shift improvement tight ki, front suspension, Performance Suspension Tech poly bushings with large diameter sway bar installed, replaced u joints on driveshaft, replaced trans rubber mount. etc... Interior headliner needs replacement, dash pad not cracked, needs carpet, have replacement door panels from year one. Has crank up windows. Have rear tire plastic compartment. A/c never worked, heat works, wipers lights. No radio. Headlight switch needs nut to secure to dash, seat vinyl ok not ripped. Have sun visors tan color.Speedo not working, so miles not accurate. Bought it that way never fixed speedo cluster Never replaced rear axle rubber bushing but changed gear lube and checked posi unit. Think 342 gears? Sorry don't remember, every year work on something to improve performance. Fast runner, has Hooker headers with Stage 8 locking bolts and Flow master mufflers. Older exhaust system showing wear, but sounds great!! Nice lope from the Comp cam, think a 278 lobe duration? Rebuilt last year brake job within ss brake lines. Older Goodyear tires. Has ss rims. Posi rear end don't remember ratio... Auto trans has shift kit for firm shifts.396 v8 325 hp corvette motor with roller lifters comp cams and #278? duration cam with noisy type pete jackson timing gear drive. Rebuildt heads 5 years ago? New guides, seats, etc.Holley 4 barrel carb with kn air filter with top open element pulls cold air through functioning cowl hood area.Replaced gas tank with new sending unit and straps 10 years ago? Located at Skokie, ill 60077 for test drives and inspections.Inspections welcome, good running strong El Camino that needs finish work and minor details to be perfect.Downsizing collection...
