    An incredible story of a car that was loved and adored by its prior owners and by me. The car, one of Chevrolet's Icon year Corvettes; the 1973 Stingray. A one year only design and production that became a turning point for Chevrolet. Duntov was very excited about the 1973 for many reasons. 40% more quite that its predecessor, the front bumper system he liked as much as the engineers did with federally mandated bumper laws. The Corvette line up was going from "Sports Car" to "Touring Sports Car" and the buyers liked that too. This Corvette Stingray was a very well equipped car with almost every option including a rare option too. The Light Alloy Wheels seen on very few 1973 models and this car has them. Also, this car is a complete numbers matching car. It's original L48 190hp V8, with all of it original components other than standard upgrades. We have the original carburetor but a new Edelbrock is in its place right now; that's why the cold air intake is not mounted. The original automatic transmission and rear end, all original o the car. It is also in its original paint color, interior being leather and shows extremely well with just over 100k original miles. When you look at the pictures, you will see all the numbers on the engine to verify and see every inch of the vehicle to verify all important factors that will interest a serious buyer.     Viva Las Vegas Autos Known History . . .


    The history that we have is mostly with our two years but I do recall the seller I bought it from telling me that he had the car for several decades and took extremely good care of the car. He had it repainted years ago over the original never wrecked body in the same original color, but added a slight pearl sheen to the paint that looks great on the car. The interior when we bought it was in great condition except for the original leather seats that had covers on them but were super taught and hard with a few rips so we opted to replace the seats with Al Koch leather replacements and have them reconditioned with new foam and lining. They look spectacular now and the balance of the interior is in really good original condition. Slight wear can still be seen but aside from a small crack on the driver's door and on the center armrest, the balance of the interior is great. The dash is stunning. Note that this car came from the factory with the upgraded Deluxe interior as well. Upgraded options with Power Windows, Tilt/Telescopic Steering Wheel, Air Conditioning, Power Brakes and Power Steering. A very rare option of Light Alloy Wheels.

    So there are the particulars about the car but what I did over the next couple years was make it a great car mechanically. From the engine to the rear end, everything on this car was gone through and renewed. The air conditioning was the only mechanical component we didn't replace or renew. Suspension, front to rear, redone. Brakes front to rear redone. Engine fully tuned and checked with excellent compression, new carburetor, new wires, plugs and seals. The transmission was fully serviced, the rear end, fully removed and rebuilt and serviced along with all suspension and arms replaced. We also replaced vacuum lines and some components to make sure the headlights raised properly and all lights, turn signals work as they should. So, when you get into this Stingray and flip the key over, you are going to enjoy the drive anywhere you want in style and with confidence. Once you see the pictures of the underbelly of this car you will see the work that has been completed as well. If you live in an area where you need the AC to function, feel free to either have us complete the task or you can at your expense. I have already spent way more money on this car than I will ever see in return.

    I want to see this great car live out its days of glory in someone's collection where, like me, they can brag of its great character and originality. I want a buyer who really wants this car and pulls an intelligent offer out of their wallet and calls me with it...or bids that offer...and I get to reward that intelligent buyer with a great big fat "YES! You get to own this fantastic car." So let's get this straight right now. If you send me one of those questions like I mentioned earlier, with my usual deductive reasoning, I will fully assume that you didn't even read a word of what I took the time to write about this incredible car or about sending me those dumb questions. That is a dead giveaway that YOU are NOT my buyer. Not once in the 16 years I've been selling exclusively on eBay, has a single person that asked one of those dumb questions ever came back with "OK, I'll buy it." Even our detailers are enthusiastic about the cars they meticulously clean. Reconditioning can sometimes take several as we do all that we can within reason to get our vehicles in tip top condition visually and cosmetically. Way more than just a cheap detail....Our details are more like refurbishing to as close to new as we can possibly get our vehicles

    Usually, I'll also include a high definition video that shows the car doing its thing. If it's a fast car, we film it going fast. If it's a 4x4 you'll see it crawling up a hill. In every case you will hear things like a rumbling exhaust, working sound system and watch gauges operational as well.
