Description of 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport

High bidder gets this Super Sport. Title and registration are free and clear. This is a true SS. REAL DEAL!!! If you have been looking for a real 1970 Chevelle SSto restore here's one for your consideration. This is a Forest Green, green interior, and I believe it had a vinyl top. I can see evidence of one on the rear quarter panels. Please see the cowl tag and do your research. You Chevelle SS aficionados know how to decode these cars. The owner wants $8500 for it. You can buy it now or bid to win. It's my job to tell you the truth about this car.I will make sure that you are taken care of on this end. Your questions will be honestly answered. I will be honest about anything you ask.I have been given the authority to sell this 1970 Chevelle SS to thehighest bidder. What will the market pay? There is nothing complicated about this build. It needs a routine restoration. This car is going to handle media blasting very well. It will still be present when you finish blasting it to remove the rust. It is solidin those crucial areas. In my opinion, it's not going to get any easier than this for this amount of money. Of course, there are exceptions to my opinion. You may inherit one, find one in someone's backyard, or find one in a barn somewhere. Seriously though, please use your best judgement as it will be your decision. You know your situation and you know what you want. The front clip is just sitting on the car. I can bolt it on for you if you are shipping it. The tires have slow leaks. They will stay up long enough to load the car onto your trailer. I can check on some decent used tires if you need me to have some put on the car for transport.. The frame is very solid. There are no signs of past collisions. Look at the door gaps. This car has rust, but it can easily be whipped into shape. It comes with a set of full quarter panels, a lower fender patch panel, there was a lot of stainless inside of the trunk, headlight bezels,2 trunk pans(I would like to keep whichever one you aren't going to use, but I am not going to argue about it. If you want both sets then they are yours.), gas tank braces, and a floor pan. Please look at the photos of the parts closely. I laid everything that was inside of the trunk on the ground.Any amateur can restore this 1970 Chevelle inside of a home garage. It has been tucked away for years. This SS was taken to a bodyshop years ago for a frame on restoration, the frame on restoration came to a halt, and here it is ready for you if you want it. The engine, 12 bolt, and transmission are gone. It has a 10 bolt underneath it with the original suspension. It will need both quarter rear windows(The window regulators are present. At some point the glass was broken. Maybe it was a kid with a bb gun. I don't know.), back glass, and a windshield. It needs a full restoration. It isn't a trailer queen. It needs work. It has the correct suspension, power disc brakes, cowl hood, power steering,an extra set of complete doors, all four SS wheels, dash, speedometer cluster, console, and the bucket seat floor shift interior is with the car. I was taking photos of the parts and took pictures of the two orange fendersbecause the doors were on the ground beside them and they were lying beside the hood when the photos were taken. These fenders are not for a 1970 Chevelle. They will fit the two Chevelle years that followed 1970. They are not for this car.It needs floor, trunk, and quarter panel work. Please see the top of the windshield channel as it has some issues. The tabs for the windshield chrome are there and in good shape. There are somesmall areas in between these tabs that needs to berepaired with some 20 gauge metal( That's what I would use. Not fiberglass or Bondo. It's a SS Chevelle, you don't want to have to worry about it again, it will be worth something, and it's just as easy to fix it right as it is to slap some Bondo on it. You have plenty of good metal that you can weld to the small patches that you will make out of the 20 gauge metal.)and then grind the welds until they are smooth. You body and sheetmetal guys and gals know what I am talking about. Please look at your financial situation, do what's best for you and your family, and come take a look if you wantto examine thisSS. Please look at the photos as I have made every attempt to be honest about this car. Please come take a look if you can, send your trusted friend to check it out for you if you can't come, askany questions that you have, and see ifthis is what you want to purchase prior to bidding. If you have been looking for a worthy one please bid to win as I am interested in finding a new owner for this 1970 Chevelle SS. I will help you or your transporter load this1970 ChevelleSSat pickup. Thanks and good luck bidding!.
