Description of 1979 Chevrolet Blazer K5

For sale here is a very unique 79 GMC Jimmy (K5 Blazer). This was brought up from Arizona so it's never seen midwest salt. This is an excellent project to finish, or just leave the way it is and enjoy it. I had plans to make it really nice but I just have too many projects at the moment. The body is solid and the floor pans have no rust at all. The passenger door has some rust at the bottom in the corner but this looks to be from a bad repair at one time. I will include two rust free doors that came from Arizona as well. The rest of the body is pretty clean and wouldn't take much to straighten it out a bit and throw a nice paint job on. The windshield has a crack on the side but I'm also sending a perfect windshield with it. The truck is lifted with a combination of springs and body lift. It has custom made tube bumpers front and rear with mounting tabs installed for off road lights. The wheels are 20x12 Fuel Hostages and the tires are 38" Nitto Mud Grapplers. The tires are in excellent shape with lots of tread left. The engine is a 350 SBC with an aluminum intake and Edelbrock carb. The transmission is a turbo 350. The header on the drivers side has a small leak but if I get some time soon I'll get that fixed. It runs and drives down the road but it definitely won't win any races. It really needs to be re geared to be optimal for highway use, but it still goes down the road fine. I don't drive it very far so I can't say how reliable it is. It's only about a 10 mile trip to work and it's always done fine. The interior had a custom roll cage installed that matches the tube bumpers. It looks really good in there and was almost overbuilt, if there is such a thing. Also installed for safety was two Corbeau racing seats with matching harnesses. I have a nice uncut dash that I was planning on installing that I will include as well. It has power locks, power windows, power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning that actually works. Overall this is a nice start to a really neat project or just leave it alone, take the top off, and go off roading. With a nice paint job and some other work this could really be worth some money since these are going up in price and will continue to do so. I can assist with loading if you will be needing this shipped to your destination. If you have any questions feel free to call or text me at 6419901417 thanks.
