I am listing this car for a friend. I have seen this car and it is nice! 1951 CHEVY DELUXE SPORT COUPE - TUDOORSea Foam Turquoise color. New items ---- interior- some chrome-gas tank - sending unit- tires. Engine is a 350 V8 with high riser 4-bbl. Carb has been rebuilt. Automatic shift with B&M Hydro stick, dual exhausts, large pipes, factory fender skirts, sun visor, vent shades, small correct Chevy hubcaps with trim rings, blue dots in tail lamps.... Looks stock but is not underhood. V-8 Runs good.No pb, radio not working, New paint back in 2006. Needs steering box maybe. It is the original. It has some play. Someone told us it could be adjusted. Owner didn't know how to adjust so they thought a new one would be better because of the age. ??? But maybe its not needed at all... There are no engine leaks... Could use a B&M neutral safety switch because it starts in all gears. Frame rails are solid, could maybe use 2 body mounts and supports. It is the original 51 Chevy chassis. It is strong. There is minor surface rust.... Runs and drives fine. Car was from Tennessee. Owned since 2006 . I contacted the owner after some questions and she told me the following:Yes all the door jambs are painted, trunk and underhood. Glass is good. There is a crack In the passenger window close to the vent window so vision is still very good. Windows roll up and down, vent windows push out.... The speedometer needs a cable. GOOD DEAL HERE!!! OTHER COMPARABLE CARS LIKE THIS ONE ON EBAY RIGHT NOW ARE DOUBLE THIS PRICE!
