Description of 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

1955 Chevy 210 Custom!I have for sale my 1955 Chevy 210 sedan. Car is amazing and gets TONS of attention where ever I take her. A lot of work has been put into this car and it is a solid driver 100% reliable. Freshly tuned 650 carb runs great on the fresh 350 motor/350 trans that both have less than 15k on them. Mild cam with many performance upgrades including long tube ceramic headers. VERY LITTLE RUST!!! The trunk pan is the damn cleanest one I've ever found. This car is a true survivor. not some black primered crap bucket. It has a real satin black paint job and really shows off nice with 18" front & 20" rear Bosse wheels with BRAND NEW rubber on them. The car is actually a 4 door with the handles shaved. Always gets double takes at shows asking if it is a 2 door. The interior process has been started with brand new chrome dash trim. brand new head liner and visors (looks great). The front seat is in good shape. but is still the original blue color along with the door panles and back seat. Really that's all that is left on the interior is seats and door panels and your done. Brand new black carpet installed. All wiring was converted to a 12v Painless performance system PROFESSIONALLY. Brand new tank to carb fuel system. Custom welded X-pipe exhausts. Disc brake conversion on the front. Check the pictures this isn't a do it yourself job. All electrics work except for wipers (still on the old vacuum system). This thing is bad ass and won't disappoint. I will post as many photos as I can to show the true condition of what you are bidding on. Look around on here and you'll see these things going pretty high in WAY worse condition with a ton of rust hiding under them. I am an honest person and I aim to treat you as such! Please do not waste my time and I won't waste yours I will list the known issues with the car below to be as honest and upfront as possible. I encourage anyone to contact me directly with ANY questions whatsoever. It's not a $25k car. but it is so damn close to getting there my loss in your gain. There is 15k in purchase/parts/labor so you couldn't build it cheaper than I ready to let it go for. The car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. I have a new baby on the way and our heater just shit the bed so I am setting the reserve on this hot rod at a LOW LEVEL. Not because I want to. Because I have to. Cash only in person and deposit will be collected within 24 auction ending. Again contact me direct @ 703-380-5808 anytime for more info. Winner will be responsible for pickup/shipping. Thanks for your viewing and GOOD LUCK!!!!!Known issues: Car is still using its original suspension system. Now to some of you that's a plus not a minus. but for me to take it all the way it deserves a nice coil over or air ride system. Car drives like an old hot rod. does 70 on the highway. but it's not a modern steering system. If you don't know what I'm talking about this is the wrong ad for you. Still a more than capable cruiser just my opinion of something that could be improved. (I sourced some upper arms online that provide 5 degrees positive caster and should go a long way to solving this. Common issue after switching to PS). Wipers still on the old vacuum system as I mentioned above. Needs replaced. After market electric conversions run about $180-250 onlineThe back seat needs recovered. I was going all black anyway and its still sittable without hurting your ass. Just doesn't look as good as the rest of the car. Wind shield has a small crack in the center. Definitely small enough for safelite repair the quoted me $179. All other glass is great. I tried to show a decent picture of the crack in the photos. There are some small rust areas/bubbles in the paint. When I say minimal I mean it. This is a survivor. The frame is straight and clean and any rust cut be cut and patched easily with metal no problem. Well that's about it. Like I said its not far from done folks. Somebody is going to get a winner here. Enjoy!
