58 Chebby truck.This truck body is in really good condition. The "usual" bad rust spots are clean! The whole drive train is from a newer 3/4 ton /2500 truck. 5.7 LS motor and what I believe to be the 4L85 trans. The build was not completed by previous owner but most the hard work is done. I had to remove a couple of the bed board to access gas tank filler. Put gas and spray a little starting fluid and it started right up. front an rear windshields and around door is new weatherstripping. the mating of old and new truck aka Frankensteining, some of the weld are very good pro job some are not. Power steering needs attention, front an rear windshields and around door is new weatherstripping. the mating of old and new truck still needs some finising up and attention. Truck does run and drive but not quite roadworthy. No you cant drive it home. truck and I are in SoCal.
