Description of 1969 Chevrolet Corvette

69 Corvette convertible big block Muncie four speed manual transmission 3:55 posi rear end with independent suspension and four wheel disc brakes The car has vacuumassist brakes everything else is manual. It was originallya 427 car but now has a performance built 496 cu.In. engine with over 500 hp. The transmission and differential are originalto the car. The cars original color is can-am white with black interior. The car runs and drives good and has a lot of power. It's a blast to drive and gets a ton of attention. The car could use a paint job but looks pretty good for it's age.The windshield wiper and headlight doors have to be opened and closed manually. I was going to install electric door kits for them but never got around to it. The interior could use updating. All of the glass is good. The frame and bird cage are solid.This is a really neat old car that can be driven as is or taken to the next level. Sold AS IS with no warranty. THIS CAMSHAFT IS A HYDRAULIC LIFTER GRIND .576 LIFT 246 DURATION @.050 ON BOTH THE INTAKE AND EXHAUST AND IT IS GROUND ON 108 DEGREE LOBE SEPARATION. THIS CAMSHAFT HAS A DISTINCT LOPY IDLE AND IS DESIGNED TO MAKE MAXIMUM POWER IN THE 2500-6500 RPM RANGE. HEADS HAVE BEEN ASSEMBLED WITH NEW SET OF 1 PIECE STAINLESS STEELSWIRL POLISHED SEVEREDUTY QUAL CASTVALVES (2.25 X 1.88). THESE VALVES ARE 11/32 STEM AND .250 LONGER THEN STOCK, A NEW SET OF DOUBLE SPRINGS AND CHROMOLY RETAINERS WITH HARDENED LOCKS AND A NEW SET OF PC SEALS.
