Description of 1968 Chevrolet C-10 Pickup Truck

Pro-Touring Restomod C10 Truck 525hp LS3 Automatic A/C Speed Tech Chassis /// A perfect blend of unique style and excellent drivability, this handsome C10 is a first rate exercise in old school charm and street rod swagger! Built to debut Speedtech Performance's Pro Touring C10 chassis at SEMA, this incredible Chevy was assembled by Tom Argue Design of Clearwater, Florida. The build began with a new cab that was fitted with 1-piece side glass and relieved of its drip rails.... Behind that cab, the truck's bed floor was raised four inches and fashioned around 3-inch widened wheel tubs. Opposite that floor, smooth Slosh Tubz inner fenders joined a smoothed firewall. And that solid profile was eventually blanketed in Porsche Carrera White PPG that's dressed in satin Tungsten accents and dashed with red pinstripes. Officially known as the Chevrolet Performance LS376/525, this C10's engine twists respectable 10.7 to 1 compression into 525 horsepower and 486 lb./ft. of torque. Behind that mill, a proven 4L65E 4-speed engages a stout Ford 9-inch that's finished with 3.90 gears. Stops are provided by Wilwood 6-piston calipers, which squeeze drilled and slotted rotors. Modern power rack-and-pinion steering provides the turns. Everything rolls on a sturdy Speedtech chassis that's mated to a modern Speedtech suspension. And power meets the pavement through Forgeline MS3Cs and Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Wrapped in Dynamat, lined in Katzkin and detailed in houndstooth, the inside of this C10 certainly makes a case for elegance in simplicity. Power-operated buckets were sourced from a 2008 Silverado. A stylish dash frames modern telemetry. Cruising is optimized by modern air conditioning and modern Pioneer audio. And steering is channeled through a flat-bottom Flaming River wheel. If you're looking for a unique classic that mixes killer style with plenty of right-foot fun, this Chevy deserves your full attention. Call, click or visit for more information.
