Description of 1963 Chevrolet Nova

1963 Chevy II model 300 Four door. Clean Colorado car! Has a file folder of receipts dating back to the early 90's from service and repair in the Denver area. around 95 the engine was upgraded to a later model 250 cu in 6cylinder which like new. Very smooth and has no troubles firing up on these cold Ohio mornings at zero degrees. The updated 350 turbo transmission appears to have been installed about the same time as the engine. It also works as it should. engages quickly and shifts smoothly. As far as I can tell. everything minus the radio and fuel gauge work properly. The gauge has a new sending unit. nbsp;so ASSUME it is a problem with the gauge its self. According to the receipts much o the front suspension has been and looks to be true. It drives and stops very well for a 50 year old car. I honestly don't think I would be afraid to drive it longer distances if the tires were replaced. the show some age and wear. I acquired this vehicle in a trade. It has a clear notarized Ohio title. The body is a good ten footer. Car was originally blue and apparently dinged up. Under close inspection you can see bad filler work. The only significant rust is on the drivers floor pan right where the lower part of the accelerator pedal attaches as seen in the pictures. It also appears to be an enamel paint job. as previously stated look decent ten feet away but shows orange peel and sags up close. This a super neat 50 yr old project or driver. It would be fun just to cruise to a local show or turn it into a hot rod sleeper. I have purchased and will include an original radio and bezel. There is a more modern radio in the dash that powers up. but I am not sure there are even speakers hooked to it. All the lights. including the back up lights work. The shifter is stiff but does operate properly. Please ask and I will try to answer any questions quickly. Thank you!
