Description of 1965 Chevrolet Other Pickups

You are bidding on a 1965 Chevrolet Pro Street Pickup that has only been driven a few miles and had a few passes at the track. The truck is white with black racing stripes and has an aluminum bed cover and is race or street ready. There was over 70k spent on this truck with every part being new from start and is well put together with only the best stuff. This is a great truck for going to cruise-ins or if you are looking for something to hit the drag strip it can serve that purpose as well. The motor is a 468 with oval port heads. ferrara valves. comp solid roller valve train. csi water pump. stef's pan. edelbrock intake. bg carburetor. custom headers and exhaust. msd 701-2 ignition. TH 400 transmission. manual valve body. ATI S" converter. chassis engineering ladder bars and coilovers. aerospace heavy duty brakes. tubalar front crossmembers with tubalar A-arms and coilovers. wilwood rack and pinion and BG 400 pump with braided lines. Truck has run high 6's in 8th and high 9's in 1/4. You can tell that the truck is nicely detailed in the engine bay area as to where you dont mind raising the hood at a car show. The truck sits on weld wheels on 31x16. 50x15 on back and 165x80x15 on the front. there are no issues with the truck at all it fires up first crank everytime even if been sitting for a while. Please call with any questions. there is alot to cover on something like this so would rather talk to someone over the phone or have the truck inspected to know what you are getting. The truck is in Goodlettsville TN 37072 at my dads house. I know there have been alot of questions about the motor so I talked with the gentleman that built the truck and have more information about the motor. The motor was built by Steve Alan in North Carolina who does alot of Nascar motors. It is a 468 and did a little over 800hp at the dyno. The heads were ported and polished and has jezzle rocker arms. It has Eagle crank and rods with 660 roller rocker cam. 13 5to1 compression with Barry Grant fuel system. It is a Ford 9" with 430 gear and Moser axles. If someone gets really interested I will be glad to put you in contact with this gentleman. he knows the truck from top to bottom. The motor alone was close to 28k to build. he did say that the truck ran the 1/4 9. 21 and could very easily hit 8. 80.
