Description of 1971 Chevrolet Cheyenne Super 10

This is a rare truck with it's original Big Block 402 engine. Turbo 400 Transmission. factory power steering. power disc brakes (front). factory air conditioning (missing compressor. but I have the original AC bracket) on the top model for 1971 Cheyenne Super 10. Original paint (patina). interior (worn on driver's side) original engine. transmission wheel covers etc. The only thing not original to the truck is the back bumper (it was originally chrome). The only things missing that I know of is the AC compressor and the tail gate. I've spent a lot of money on this truck. it has a rebuilt engine. rebuilt transmission. new radiator. new gas tank and sending unit. new belts and hoses. new alternator. and a few other things I'm sure I'm forgetting. This truck runs and shifts very well. the brakes work excellent. Tires could use replacing. I've replaced the cab corners inner and outer rockers. and had the bed sides and cab floors repaired. The body is very solid (cab and bed). You would be hard pressed to find a more original. highly optioned. documented truck. I have the original warranty plate. owner's manual. and order receipt stating all the original options for this truck. How cool is it that the original owner was a Drive In?
