Description of 1979 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500 CHEYENNE

THIS CALIFORNIA NATIVE K20 CHEVY CHEYENNE 4X4 IS IN GOOD ORIGINAL CONDITION. THIS TRUCK WAS BOUGHT FROM THE SECOND OWNER AND WAS USED AS A LIGHT DUTY TRUCK AROUND TOWN AND AROUND THEREPROPERTY'S. THE FACTORY OPTIONS ARE- CHEYENNE EQUIPPED, UPPER AND LOWER BODY SIDE MOLDINGS, SLIDING REAR WINDOW, AM/FM RADIO, AUXILIARY FUEL TANK WITH TANK SHIELDS, FRONT CHROME BUMPER, TINTED GLASS, V8 MOTOR, TURBO HYDRA-MATIC TRANS, 4.10 REAR AXLE RATIO,POWER STEERING, POWER DISC BRAKES, POWER DOOR LOCKS,TILT STEERING, AIR CONDITIONING, TOW PACKAGE.


THE BODY AND PAINT- The body on this truck is in good original condition with factory floor pans. The original tunnel and fire wall is in good condition and has not been cut up or beat on and the original paint on the fire wall looks good. The bed sides are original to the truck and are in good original condition. Both the original doors are solid and are rust free they are in good condition, both doors shut good. Both the original front fenders are also in good condition and are rust free. The original GM inner and outer rocker panels are rust free, they are in good condition. The original GM hood is in ok condition with a slight bow. The inside of the bed is in good condition and there is no dents to speak of in the bed. The bottom side of this truck is not rusty or full of under coating it is apparent underneath this truck the amount it was used its clean for being original. This truck has all its original GM panels and overall the body on this truck is in good solid condition with only small dings here and there. The paint on this truck looks to be mostly original and is in good original condition. Keep in mind the paint is old and is overall in good condition but is not perfect due to age.


THE INTERIOR- The inside of this truck is in ok to good original condition. The original seat and the material is in ok original condition showing some light wear on the driver's side area. The carpet is also in ok used condition with some wear on the driver's side area. The gauges are in good working order and the original dash pad is in good condition with a few small cracks. The original door panels are in good condition and the electric door locks are in working order. The original steering wheel is in good condition. The original am/fm radio is also intact. The original headliner is in good with only a few sags. Overall the inside of this truck is clean looking for being all original.


THE BRIGHT WORK- The front fender emblems, side moldings, wheel well moldings, grill assembly, front bumpers, side mirrors, door handles, and the rest of the outer bright work is all in good original condition.

THE MOTOR- The motor is a 454 big block and this truck runs good and is dependable. This truck still has all the factory equipment under the hood and this 454 has good power and does not leak or smoke.


THE TRANS - The automatic trans is in good working order and this trans does not leak. The rear end is original to the truck and is equipped with 4.10 gears. The transfer case is also original and is in good working order and it does not leak. This truck was converted to locking hubs and they are in good working order. Over all the drive train in this truck is in good condition and this truck drives good.
THE TIRES- The all-terrain tires are old but have good tread you may want to replace them. The original stock steel rims and the original hub caps are in good original condition.


THE OVER ALL- This Chevy truck is a clean driver that was well taken care of by the owners over the years. This truck is ready to enjoy and is a blast to drive and is dependable, it's just a nice looking truck. The exhaust is older but is in good condition. This truck is equipped with the stock springs and it rides nice. The power steering is in good working order with no leaks. All of the glass is in good condition and is not cracked or pitted. The air conditioning was converted to R134 and is due for a recharge. The heater is in good working order. The bottom side of this truck is not under coated from the factory and it is clear to see that it is not a rotted out mess.
